What are the grip differences between Yonex and Dunlop in size, shape and buutcap? Played with Yonex but never with Dunlop and considering to buy and AG100 but don't know what grip size choose. Thanks

I owned both the RDX-300 and the RDS003 and Yonex grips feel the smallest of any of the manufacturer's. I currently use a Wilson L3, but a Yonex L4 felt too small for my hand. They're also narrow like Head grips as well as being some of the longest grips. Two-handers can easily get both hands on Yonex grips.

I also had a 300G and a Maxply McEnroe and the shape of the Dunlop grips feel more like Wilson grips to me, but maybe a little narrower. The Dunlop stock grips are a bit more cushioned than Wilson stock grips as well .

I've found the Dunlops that I've tried to be quite similar to Wilson grips in their size and profile. As for Yonex, I have a pair of RDS 002 Tours and their grips aren't as wide and flat as my LM Prestige mids - I'd say that they feel more like a Wilson grip that's a little bit wider. By that, I mean that the wide faces of the grip (the ones at 12 and 6 o'clock as you look at the "W" on the buttcap) seem a just a bit more broad and I have the feeling a more oblong oval in my hand with the Yonex. While this shape is comfortable for me, the Head grip shape is rather distracting.

Some folks knock the Yonex grips for being comparatively smaller than other grips, but it seems that the issue comes from the thin replacement grips that are supplied on their frames off the rack. I have rather thin Prince overgrips on top of the originals on my 002's and they feel more substantial than my old Wilson Prostaffs that are the same 4 5/8" size with the same overgrips.

there's a slightly difference in the handle shape (the length of the various sides of the octagon vary a little bit), but the result is a very similar size (assuming you use the same cushion grip on both).
I bought them in the same grip size

Thanks a lot guys. Regarding buttcap Yonex's one is one of the smallest on the market. Where do you place the Dunlop's one?

I'm pretty sure the actual bare handle of Yonex racquets is true to size. They just feel smaller because the stock grips are really thin.

Well I use Dunlop L3 and with an overgrip it is perfect... but with Yonex it's a bit tricky, I use L3 on RDX 500 Mid with an overgrip but wrap it not so tight to make it increase a bit the grip size... I can use both L3 and L4 Yonex, only L3 Dunlops, and L4 Head grips (Intelligence series)...
