Sam Querrey vs Thomas Fabbiano and Kyle Edmund vs Taylor Fritz! Who will move on to the final? :)

I didn't know the exact drawsheet, so was hoping for an Edmund vs Fritz final, but it turns out that's the semi! So, I'll go for Edmund vs Querrey.

I am rooting for a Fabbiano vs Fritz final but I also really like Edmund :) Querrey not so much...

Found my new least favorite player and his name is Fabbiano. Guy is absolutely atrocious and he’s screaming and fist pumping like he has any chance of winning. Just get off the court

Querrey fixes it to make sure it goes 3 sets to avoid all the bettors who bet on 2-0 result. That’s why you don’t bet sets folks. Too much fixing takes place in tennis. Watch how easily Querrey wins the third set now that the fix is over

Wow.. I mean id be screaming and fist pumping too if im primarily a challenger player who finds his way into a tour level semi final making way more money and points. Also his strokes are very technically sound. You have to be really talented to be successful at his height. Whats your pedigree again?

I think Fritz has shown dedication the past 12 months or so improving his game and having some decent results on clay this year. But his game has never impressed me. Edmund seems to be a better version. Better movement, bigger/heavier FH, more consistent BH, similar serves.. He hasnt been impressive himself this season however.

How would he do against Fabbiano

Taylor Fritz wins the first set in an exciting tiebreak where he saved four set points! :)

All Yankee final looming at Eastbourne. The last time that happened in a grasscourt event was at 2010 Queen's when Querrey beat Fish.

Taylor Fritz wins 7-6, 6-3! So it's an all-American final after all... Hoping for Fritz to win it! :)

Had Kyle have won this event, the British media would have typically used it as a hype tool to make out he was some kind of prospect to go deep at Wimbledon. So, in that sense it's probably good he's lost now, but for his career it's not so good. He showed huge promise to make the AO SFs in 2918 but he's only won 1 ATP title since and should really be winning this event. There was an article on the BBC earlier where Edmund said he believed he could win Wimbledon (presumably some day), which yeah, I presume as a pro athlete you need that kind of positive mindset, but also you need to win a fair few titles before you become some kind of contender for slams.

I'll root for Fritz in the final, and hopefully he gives US men's tennis something to be excited about over the next few years, as I think the hype around him has really fallen off compared to a few years ago.
