That’s a good point. However, he just retired so I think it will take time for the fans to let that sink in properly. It’s like a long marriage or relationship that just ended and everyone is asking you to forget about it right away when the memories are still very fresh.

I am a Nadal fan but imo Djokovic will win Slam race since he's fitter , hasn't lost much pace and doesn't miss slams due to injury. still , a lot can happen and nothing is given in tennis. AO 2023 might be crucial for slam race.

This, for Nadal the battle against injury is getting harder. Novak looks fresh and against the current opposition has an opportunity to capitalise on that over the next 2-3 years.

Not voting but Djokovic to win it in 2025 with 25 slams in total. Nadal 2nd with 24 slams.

Novak does not need to win the slam race though, a tie and he still is seen as greater. It's Rafa who needs to win it.
