Federer 2005 ABC interview-interesting!

I recently found this piece on Roger Federer from 2005, done by ABC Australia's 60 Minutes show. While it's relatively old, I think watching the video can tell us really interesting things about the coaching and stuff that Federer received from Tony Roche, his training habits in Dubai and stuff, and is a refreshingly look back on Roger when he was hailed as the top of tennis.
Interesting stuff indeed...please comment.

Does anyone else seem to think Federer's volleying seems a bit tighter and solid then (in the video) than it is now?

Thanks for the video...I like how he says "If you go somebody else will take your spot and tennis will live on but you won't. You're just there in the moment. You can never be bigger than the game and you always have to remember that."

Just goes to show how much he cares for the game and how its not just about the money

Interesting to see him with Roche and the things Roche was saying. He's so much more human than we made him. He's a phenomenon for sure.

With all the crap Federer has been receiving lately, being arrogant, ungratious etc,
I think people are being too fickle and have forgotten how Federer views his role as a tennis player in relation to the rest of the sport and its history.
IF you guys really want a look into how Federer viewed his career and his opinions on the game, more people should watch this interview and really give it time to sink in. Post-match interviews don't mean much, especially when you've just lost and you're in a bad mood. Appreciate all the hard work and effort Federer has put into his game, and the kind of humility that may not always be apparent in most of his interviews, but is present in this video clip.
