You're very naive if you think Ralph's 6 month break was due to an "injury".

You must be naïve if you believe that Roger had mono and still carried on playing never missing a match.

Roger is the King of excuses. He can always fall back on his back........excuse the pun.

A past prime player talking about his injury/illnesses is 'excuse'.
A perfectly fit and young player bringing up injury year after year after year throughout his career for a decade is ??? Let me guess ...lying ?

Since a year Fed is only talking about his back.

Nadal could talk his whole career about his chronic knee. He does not.

Sampras could have talked his whole career about his Anemia. He did not.
When he talked about his vomit it was because everybody could see it anyway on the court.

LMAO! A past his prime player who has played 1100+ matches compared to a player in his prime who has played 800 or so matches...

Funny how Federer had a prime that only lasted three years but somehow Nadal's prime has lasted for ten years and is still going strong.

Stop lying...Show me one poster that said his prime was three years...Federer's peak was three years...His prime was from 2004 to 2009.

So you tell me what was Nadal's prime? Because I get different answers from his fans.

Federer's peak was 4 years from 2004-2007. Prime probably from 2003-2010 (beginning). That's pretty much 8 years. So why do Nadal fans make up lies about what Fed fans say?

The interview reeks of post-hoc excuses. Its the stench of "mono" all over again.

If you are injured, then rest, e.g. Murray, Nadal.

Posters who are amused of Roger's mono, I like to see how they feel when they catch mono themselves and other people entertain their suffering.

I've had it. That's why I know its a lame excuse for an entire year of poor form.

When Federer takes at least 6 months off with injury, then we are talking. He dined out on his 'mono' for years but never missed a match.

Excuses, or what?

When Federer takes at least 6 months off with an injury, we'll know he's playing mind games like your boy.
