Wondering about the ratio of members' support here.

Djokovic is often disliked because of his poor on-court behaviour. Breaking rackets, even after attaining ATG status does not make him the the best role model for kids to imitate. However, he is not obliged to act differently (whatever suits him), but a point for some to consider anyway.

Federer is often disliked because his main competition for many slams was against against the likes of Roddick, Safin, Hewitt etc. Aged versions of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic (along with the likes of Stan & Andy) are overall regarded as superior to Fed's competition. Therefore, Nadal and Djokovic have according to many won their slams amidst tougher competition (for a longer period). This often serves as a reason to irk many fans of Djoko, Nadal etc. Although this bears no reason to dislike Federer (and objective fans do not).

Nadal is often disliked by fans of Fed & Djok, because he has won only 7 slams (out of clay) and has inferior consistency as the top most player like Fed & Djokovic (significantly lesser weeks at 1). This provokes fans who claim, he doesn't belong on the same pedestal as Federer and Djokovic. However, he arguably has the best on-court behaviour, and is an incredible role model. Never even broke a racket.

This thread is about "whom you like the most", and not about their standing in history.

Federer for the playing style, Nadal for being the only decent person among the three.
Explain how Fed isn't a decent person? And Novak having rages on court doesn't preclude him from being a decent person either. Fed gives 20 million a year to one of the poorest countries in the world, Malawi. Isn't that sort of the epitome of being a decent person?

It's marketing and image. We had opportunities to see his real face many times.

And speaking of doing things for the sake of image, Djokovic... the difference is, one is successful at it, the other isn't(too desperate I guess).

Nadal gamewise. Keep changing between Novak and Roger gamewise depends on stage of career and mood.

Djokovic is the favorite now, since most people choose winners(probably to feel better about themselves because they feel like losers in their real life). If you remember, only a few years ago Federer was the absolute favorite.

Amongst newer fans for sure. As much as people say, that Djokovic isn't liked the same as Federer and Nadal, things are changing. With majority of people actually contemplating between Federer and Djokovic. Djokovic is getting the respect that he wants.

I'm not sure if the second question is related to the first question, so my answer is Mustang from FMA: Brotherhood.

Mustang vs Johan would be a good battle.

I was as much a Fed fan as anyone, giving him kudos for being the GOAT early on even though H2H he's behind Nadovic! His perpetual "hanging on" started bothering me though; really hoping for that NG to take over and it hasn't even come close to occurring! Seemed like a good time to pack it in when he failed to win GOLD at the 2012 Olympics! He haunted the tour for over 5 years before finally winning these last 3 majors keeping him barely ahead of Nadovic! Never been a fan of Nadal's even as a kid; so many reasons he just rubbed me the wrong way! I started appreciating Djokovic in 2011 when it appeared he took over the top rank! I was hoping for good, but it flipped around the 3 of them throughout the decade with Nole holding a mild advantage! Right now, Nole style is not my fave, but of the 3 top players, I look more favorable to Djokovic since his winning is more balanced! This FO will lock it up for me making him the BOAT owning all 14 major ATP titles at least twice so far! Fedal don't even come close IMO! :sneaky:

I don't think that respect is the right word for what he is getting.

The example for what I was talking about. People pick winners.

Resolution maybe! Most will have to resign to the fact that Djokovic will end up with most of the top records; owning most right now! Taking all 14 ATP major events at least twice may never be accomplished again in our lifetime! Fed's time is coming to an end and Rafa's resume too imbalanced with "clay success!"

What is his real face then? It would be good to know. To me this is the real Federer. Edberg obviously holds him high and so do I. Show me his real face please!
Just look at Federer's reaction when Edberg starts talking. His whole face shines up. Despite all his success and the fact that he surpassed Edberg's achievements, Edberg is still his idol and that will never change.

Federer seems the most easy going but Djokovic seems the most approachable. Nadal seems a nice chap but more private and distanced than the other 2.

It's good to see that Djokovic is the most well-liked player of the Big Three on this forum.

If only Novak had a better record at the USO, that would have been perfect for his resume.I guess you can't have it all.

You have a point but, with age, it won't be easy.

Again, look at it! We've been saying the same thing for almost a decade about Roger and he keeps hanging on and it paid off! It took over 5 seasons and a few embarrassing major losses to Djokovic on grass, but Roger picked up 3 majors I didn't think possible! Defending the AO in 2018 was even more impressive since Nole's never taken cons. USO's! It's tough; Borg never won even when on clay! :p

Hmm. I don't know what you mean by 'distanced'. Spanish players are like a large family on the Tour.

I just wasn't going to be on TTW today since the final is tomorrow.

Plus, this is like the 10 billionth which of the Big 3 is your favorite poll.

Don't worry, I'll always be team RAFA :p

We’ve seen that from Rafa too. The gamesmanship. The complaining about stuff for personal gain and only when it affects him.

What about the final? Do you believe Nadal has a chance? I think he needs a miracle to win this.

Breaking news! Federer just grabbed the lead!

Didn't last for long though. This is exciting actually.

Djokovic by a good bit. Having played tennis my life I like players that make things look easy, he fools most people that they say he is robotic and has no real weapon but that is the weapon he makes everything look so easy. Federer is second I like his tennis like most. Not a fan of Nadals game but overall respect the whole lot of them for what they have achieved

Federer - and that by a humongous margin. But wtf happened to this forum? We used to outnumber you guys... - now it's an even split
