Why is it that all the competitors look dapper in a suit?

When I wear a suit it looks like I'm going to make a court appearance :eek:

How good is that shot of both teams with the man himself in the middle? From the Nadal across to Mac, it's pretty much all my GOATs except Noel. Kyrgios really cuts a tragic figure now...

some of these questions about the slam race, why do i feel like some of them so badly want to see rafa overtake fed. they were asking about the race to team world as well and it was so cringe worthy.

also obligatory fed is a dork and I loved seeing the reception he got when he came onto the court for practice. Can't wait for tomorrow when he actually plays. bless federev, hope they win tomorrow.

Read somewhere Seve commentated on Fed's match today on Swiss TV. Think that's more interesting the match really, anyone caught it?

I wish Roger would concentrate on real ATP events instead of travelling to South American to play JMDP. After his series of exos with Sampras in 2007, Roger said after their MSG event, "I'm exhausted." He's now 38, in November he should be focused on WTF and the 2020 AO,

I hear ya. But he said he enjoys the South American crowd the last time that he was there a few years ago. Also, it's after the WTF19 completes. Though he'll possibly spare some thoughts for it before/during WTF19, he's too experienced and will compartmentalize. He said that this will only delay his prep for 2020 by 1 week.

As a fan, I'm ok with whatever decisions he makes at this juncture to keep himself motivated/interested in tennis. He's not some youngster on tour that may see everything as fresh and interesting. It's all old hat to him. Who knows, these 'interludes' may be just what WILL keep him playing on tour for a few more years vs. burnout from pure competition without breaks.

Rafa and NK tomorrow. Nice. But no Rafa and Fed unless they need it. Doubtful.

If that change where doubles plays first on Day 3 started this year, then it's a genius move. Why? After the reception for Fedal2017 and Fedovic2018, it's the match many (most?) want to see at these LCs. Fedr is basically a guaranteed every year while he's active, so all they need to do is pair him with Nadl/Djokr/(biggest TE name), and it'll likely be THE match for the fans. And Match#9 MUST be played every LC, so putting it on the last day as the main event is (y) (y) .

Yep, however, does this mean Fed could have to play the last match if it goes that far?

Guys, what a great Laver Cup Fed is having! Just wanted to drop on over here and say I am loving this Fedal camaraderie and them cheering each other on. I was on my feet the whole time in Fed/Isner match. Never have I cheered him on so much. Loved every moment of it! On to the decider now. Geneva can sure shake up the whole place! ;)
