Federer vs Kiefer *SPOILER*

I have a feeling Federer will kick into a higher gear since this will be the start of the 2nd week match and their two previous matches, Kiefer took a set from both matches. Federer will prove to everyone that they need to play their very best to keep up with him, so I believe he will be all out to destroy Kiefer to prove a point to his upcoming opponents. I voted for Federer wins in 3 easy sets:
6-2, 6-3, 6-1 in 72 mins. At most, Kiefer will win 9 games or less.

this will be a tight match. def Fed will need to give it lots of attention.

I saw Kiefer here b. Dent 64 64 and the guy is able to slow-ball you, hit hard, come at the net, serve hard, the whole package. seems to be in great condition lately.

I expect Fed to do more S-V, you can't let K take the initiative at the net. Seeing K playing a practice set with Pavel here, I think this should be effective against him. He's less confident when guys are showing variety and are changing the pace.

haha Matthew, you are more ambitious than me...less than 3 games...wowowow!!! Actually it may be 6-4, 6-2, 6-1....7 games...Maybe I should have voted for less than 9 games (3rd option) which is a safer bet...what the hell, just have this gut feeling it will be a thrashing...since Federer did not play his best for the previous match against Rochus.

I think Kiefer has a chance at winning a set. I'm calling a 6-3, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 win for Fed.

Previous 2 matches, Kiefer took a set off Federer. Federer definitely does not enjoy losing a set to Kiefer and getting the match played with such anxiety. Federer usually plays alot better on his 3rd successive match with an opponent, which is my observation. Somehow, he figures out more what he needs to do against the particular opponent when he plays him a 3rd time in a year's time span or so. I am confident it would be straight sets this time round.

It's a Spoiler because people may still be posting here AFTER the match has been played ... and commenting on the score. This would ruin it for people who had to tape or TiVo the match for later watching.

Kiefer is the third player in-a-row for Roger, who uses soft balls and junk. Roger *does* seem to have difficulty with these guys. (By which, I mean instead of winning in three easy straights; he "struggles" and only wins in three or four sets.)

"Roger in four" is my prediction.

I am tired to write extra words...*SPOILER (If Necessary)* or *SPOILER (Upon Occurrence)*, so I cut it short by just writing *SPOILER*. Because I don't want people to react so violently if I dont put a SPOILER and at the same time, I am sometimes not sure whether to put a SPOILER, so better add it in just to play safe..... In the end, every thread by everyone will have a SPOILER (Assuming some conditions, etc). Then those people who are so conscious of SPOILERS will see the whole forum with SPOILERS, I wonder will they actually peep and view these forums. There are so many people who are unhappy about others not putting spoilers, so who is the actual the legal enforcer in this forum? If everyone wants to play safe and put a SPOILER in the thread, very soon all the threads are with ***SPOILER***, then the reading pleasure of those honest folks who don't open SPOILER threads will have limited reading threads left to read...An Overdose of SPOILER threads will result and cause an extinction of a rare breed of honest people who do not open spoiler threads and will not come to this site anymore because of all the SPOILER threads floating around.
