Final Hybrid Decision

hey guys I've come to the decision to narrow the strings that i have picked to hybrid with downt o the top 5. I am a 5.0 player with a pretty big serve and depend on my big forehand to run the point. My forehand is flat with some topspin. I use a k six one 95 (16x 18 ). Here are my choices

1. Cyberflash 17 on mains and Gosen sheep Micro 17 for crosses
2. Kirschbaum Proline II (17L) and gosen sheep micro 17 for crosses
3. Signum pro poly plasma 1.23/1.18/tornado (which one?) hybrid with Gosen 17 micro for crosses)
4. Weisscannon Silver string hyrbid with Gosen 17 micro for crosses
5. Technifibre black code 17 with gosen micro 17 for crosses

your opinions? anything else i should hyrbid with other than gosen that will make my game more effective? (big forehand, and i like to use it to come to net and volley sometimes).

Ps. I would rather like a string with better playability than a more durable one. And i can't string with natural gut, as looking to buy 2 reels.

I vote on this, used this for 2 years, switched merely due to Gosen's lack or durability (I break full poly in 4-6 hours, full synthetic gut in 1-2 hours).

If you don't get as much durability as you want, Babolat Superfine Play is just as good as OG Micro, but is slightly more durable IMO.

I've used the WC Silverstring/Gosen OG Micro hybrid quite a bit. Recently, I switched my mains to Technifibre Pro Red Code.

I think the Red Code gives me much better feel. Although it seems to be stiffer when handling the string and stringing it up, it actually ends up playing much softer (but not mushy). I think the extra elasticity in the WC Silverstring ends up creating a stiffer stringbed because it stretches a bit during stringing...especially if you are using a drop weight machine.

Anyway...the five you listed all seem like pretty nice choices. I've been trending towards lower tensions (52/56) and have seen nice improvements in playability.

choices look good. if you go with the PL II or Silver String then i have a few sets of other co polys to trade which you might want to try just to compare.

Alright Thanks. I am certainly going to purchase the Gosen Reel as well as the Cyberflash Reel. In addition I'm still debating whether or not to purchase the PL II and Signum Pro 1.18 reels.
