foam in my kpro tour?

On my kpro tour, I opened the butt cap, and there was foam inside. People tell me that I can check if it's real or fake by poping the butt cap. If I find nails instead of metal stripes, it's a fake. Well I bought this one from tenniswarehouse, but it was made in china. Anyways, I'm wondering if the foam could be a scheme to cover up the nails.

No, the foam has two purposes:

1. To provide an extra measure of shock absorption (allegedly, not sure how well it works)
2. To help make the specs closer to what they should be

Thats exactly it jessica you're onto something. How did you crack the case? Tennis Warehouse has been trying to cover this one up for years, who knew it just took one girl unravel their whole scheme operation. Great job (insert sarcasm).

First off, you bought it from TW. I wouldn't question anything I got from TW. It's going to be legit.

Secondly, they all have foam in the handles, so this is actually a good sign. Also, the staple thing applies more to identifying fake APDC's.

Finally, you're only suspicious because it's made in China. Face it: most things you own are/were probably made in China. Just because China is the birthplace of a lot of fake stuff doesn't mean that everything out of China is fake.
