For those who have, or currently wear both ..?

I am trying to get a head to head comparison on the durability of these two shoes.

Courtballistec 4.3 and Tour Vapor 9.

I use the 4.3's, I know all about the shoes. I am looking at snagging a pair of Vapors on clearance for another pair of shoes to have handy. And since I have never worn the Vapors, I don't want to flush $100 down the drain if they won't hold up at all.

I've never had to use the 6 month warranty on any of the 3 pairs of the Ballistecs I've owned, but they have worn down after the 7 month time frame.

I am trying to gauge how much longer one pair of the shoes lasts compared to the other. I know the Vapors are designed with comfort in mind, not durability. However, some have said they lasted alright and others say they don't.

So, for those of you have currently use both both pairs, how long has each pair of shoes lasted you compared to one another?

Thanks.

I have used both. I consider the ballistecs more of my training/work shoe, and the Vapors as my match shoes. That being said, I don't see too big of difference in durability between the 2. Clearly, the Ballistecs have a thicker sole but the Vapors are fine if you aren't that hard on shoes.

Now, I know you are coming here asking about those two models, but I have found two shoes that split the difference very well: Lotto Raptors and Asics Gel resolutions. Both feel faster than the Ballistec, but more durable than the Vapors.

It's not even close. The Court Ballistecs are WAY more durable than the Vapors.

The Vapors are more comfortable than the 4.3 Ballistecs. But like the other guy said, you would use the Ballistecs for practice and the Vapors for matches.

But if you are not rough on sneakers, I would get the Vapors. They are like pillows on your feet.
