Groundstroke question

This is in relation to where your wrist and hoop are to the ball. Look at this pic:

Would someone please tell me how important it is (for the majority of your groundstrokes that you hit) for your wrist to be higher than the ball, the racquet hoop to be below your wrist?

Obviously, Djokovic is a tall guy, so its easy for him. But I'm a short guy. If you replaced me in that pic instead of him, hitting that exact same ball, it wouldn't be bouncing near my hips like his, it would be almost chest high. If you were to pause the video of me hitting it just like he is, my wrist would be below the ball and the hoop would be high up in the air upon impact.

This is because for me to have my wrist higher than the ball with the racquet face dipping below the ball, my wrist would have to be shoulder height -- and that's just too awkward for me.

That explains almost every ground stroke of mine: my wrist is at worst below the ball with hoop above the ball, and at best my wrist and hoop are level with the ball.

But, my wrist is NEVER above the ball, hoop NEVER below the ball.

Is that a bad habit of mine? Do I need to change this, or does it not matter? is it OK for my wrist to be below the ball for a groundstroke?

I'm 5'6", so if you say I need to look more like Djoker in the above pic, then I need to eat a lot of Wheaties, take plenty of Flintstones vitamins, and retreat 5' behind the baseline to wait for the ball to drop low enough.

Makes no difference at all.
Tons of short players hit heavy topspin off head high or slightly higher shots.
Dr.Ivo never has to face such shots.
You get used to the prevailing bounce of the incoming balls. Then you move to clay and face higher bouncing balls. When you figure that out, you go to grass and face lower bouncing balls.
Just changing how much you shoulder turn can solve your problems of extremely high or extremely low shots.
