The 80s were a different time, guess you had to be there. There's no chance someone like Kelly McGillis could be cast as romantic lead with a Tom Cruise equivalent today. Many tv shows and movies from that time had leading ladies that would seem odd by todays standards. Hell, James freaking Bond had a sex scene with Grace Jones in the 80s!

Agreed. Not sure how many times I've googled "gabriela sabatini" and its variants after the latest "Gabby has come out" gossip, but I've yet to see it confirmed. Not to mention that her sex life is none of our business and outing anyone without consent is a relic of the 20th century that refuses to die.
