I like blue courts the best too. All other colors seem outdated and are usually seen in older facilities.Personally I favor the deep blue court with green surround ...
I highly dislike the all brown or all gray
The all green feels like I went back in time to 1982
Played on one red court with green surround ... took a bit to get used to
That's what the hard courts at our club are. Purple with green surround. They look good.Purple.

My little sister’s high school courts are purple. I need to try to play on that.Purple.

I suppose I'd rather play on those colored courts than to watch them on tv.Is there anyone on your lawn?
I hate purple. The courts at our old club we're resurfaced with purple, yellow and white. Looked like a Minnesota Vikings court. It was pretty uglyPurple.

Red clay is one of the worst colours for ball visibility - on account of orange and yellow being next to each other on the colour wheel.Contrast is excellent, tennis balls pop nicely against the red clay color court.
Interesting. Must be my eyes. I would call tennis balls green more than yellow, and the green on red sure pops for me.Red clay is one of the worst colours for ball visibility - on account of orange and yellow being next to each other on the colour wheel.
If you’ve got red-green colour blindness it’s even worse.
We played on some courts this past weekend that were red with green surround. I was not a fan. I prefer the blue court with green surround.
Little too Christmas-y for you?
Green/surrounded by red. Hard to come by. Seems most parks are doing blue surrounded by green. I think a few years ago ATP/WTA decided it was easier to see the ball with that backdrop hence the change. Anyone know what year US Open and Aussie Open changed? Hard to fathom all that green.
