Tell me whatssup Chris!!
These are not my pictures, borrowed from Henrik Wallenstein from his FB page.
Very similar throat area to the Vcore Pro 97. Notice the box beam lower part (4 sides) that tapers into a 5-sided, pyramidal cross section towards the upper part of the throat.
I have been using the Pro version since mid September, so far it has been great, excellent feel and it has the right blend of power/control for me. I play doubles exclusively and this is a great serve and volley stick, stability at the net is topnotch. My current string setup is Lynx Tour 1.25 at 52lbs.
There isn't a 98 that I would compare it to.Are there other 98s y'v played with that you might compare it to?
Did the Boom Pro seem to play head heavy at all? Head light?
And so did the isometrics = pyrotechnics?
Or not so much...

Boom Pro is of interest to me—think it will be relatively headlight?
I'm not into the mint green though

I would say more on the head light side.
The head shape worked out great for me as I tend to hit the ball up a bit higher on the sweetspot, which is very generous.
Nice
Definitely up my street
Was it the Pro or the MP? Strung weight? Did you add weight?I hit with it tonight for 30 minutes. feels good. definitely easy to play with. Good at everything. Strung swingweight for mine was 329 with 16G Head Hawk @ 51 lbs. It moved through the air faster than that. I've been playing with the new auxetic prestige pro and compared to that, it wasnt as solid. but higher launch angle obviously. with more of the muted, modern feel. Not much complaints. Might add a leather grip and try again to get the weight up just a smidge. felt like a mix between the extreme tour/gravity mp/radical pro.

Then we can surmise the unstrung weight of the Boom Pro to be 305g. 305g racquet, 18g strings, 7g overgrip equals 330g total.I hit with the Pro version. strung weight was probably around 330 g with an overgrip. did not add any weight. I'm going to continue to hit with it. Not completely ruling it out as my future stick.. but It's going to be hard to give up this auxetic prestige pro.

Did you measure the swing weight "329" on a machine? Seems a high number based on what I thought the target market to be. Would have predicted low 320s.

Maybe I just haven't been looking thoroughly enough - I swear I saw somewhere that the Pro is a 98, but I haven't been able to confirm that. Anyone here?
Ahh the serve...My favorite part of this racquet!! This racquet out performs the 2021 Pure Drive in the serve department. I am 5'7 140lbs so I need a racquet that's going to provide a bit more help on serve and the Pro has definitely been an upgrade for me.Yes +1 to hitting higher in the head. Currently Speed MP, that shape, and the earlier Radicals inverted teardrop shape seem to work out for me. Serve higher up too.
So how went the BPro on various serves for you?

in regards to the muted, modern feel...is there a racket in the 360+ lineup with similar feel?
I am not a Big fan of Lynx touch however, when I tested the Boom Pro in KB back in September, it was strung with Lynx Touch and I loved it and how it fit the racket…I can’t wait to try the lynx touch. It looks so cool, and I wonder how it plays.
Interesting. I may need to give it a shot in one of mine. I went right to Lynx Tour and have been happy.I am not a Big fan of Lynx touch however, when I tested the Boom Pro in KB back in September, it was strung with Lynx Touch and I loved it and how it fit the racket…
Ah wait, now...I am not sure if it is Lynx Touch or tour...duh. You can tell I am not familiar with that line of strings. It was yellowish/natural color thoughInteresting. I may need to give it a shot in one of mine. I went right to Lynx Tour and have been happy.
Lynx Tour comes in a champagne color, but I wouldn't necessarily describe it as a very natural color. Do you remember how stiff the string felt? Tour is pretty stiff, as much as I like it.Ah wait, now...I am not sure if it is Lynx Touch or tour...duh. You can tell I am not familiar with that line of strings. Champagne would be the right word. It was not too stiff since I play Gut in the mains and was able to use this for about 5 hours.Lynx Tour comes in a champagne color, but I wouldn't necessarily describe it as a very natural color. The new Lynx Touch is grey. Lynx Tour is champagne. I know Lynx Touch was in the MP teasers.Ah wait, now...I am not sure if it is Lynx Touch or tour...duh. You can tell I am not familiar with that line of strings. It was yellowish/natural color though
Must be the Tour then. Sorry for the confusion. I liked it a lotThe new Lynx Touch is grey. Lynx Tour is champagne. I know Lynx Touch was in the MP teasers.
I think this looks great and plan to get at least a couple, all the specs look really interesting and the design looks great with the black & teal/green.
Lets hear your thoughts, pre-release and after getting one (or more)!
