Head racquet comparisons

I was considering the YouTek M Speed 18 X 20 but noticed that the Liquid Metal Radical MP has almost the exact same specs for much less. And the new Youtek Prestige MP also has very similar specs. Has anyone played both the MSpeed 18 X 20 and the LM Radical MP? Your input would be greatly appreciated.:)

The specs are about half an ounce apart. On paper, the Radical is 11.2 ounces and 4 points headlight and the Speed is 11.8 ounces and 7 points headlight. The Rad's swingweight is 325 and the Speed's is 317.

IMHO, the LM Radical is a better choice. It's dirt cheap (you can pick up 2 and almost a third for the price of one Speed MP). The Radical is also a bit more customizable too with the lower weight.

That's just my two cents ;)

Lol that's not considered similar specs... similar would be the Speed 18x20 and YT Prestige MP, where specs are 1,2g and 1,2 pts apart. In this case the difference would be weight distribution.

The radical is a very solid racket that does everything well- very well even... but is not outstanding at one thing. I could never play with the Rad line except for the Ti., every ball I try to rip would sail long.

The Speed 18x20 (and the line overall) can be described as a bit raw - It packs quite some power and spin, though the power is not as predictable as the Prestige. Search for the thread "Question for drakulie" and you'll see probly the best reviews on this racket.

Demo demo demo, they're very different!
