Tbh it's not like he wasn't prone to being shaky at Wimbledon. Iirc he was pushed to 5 the year b4 in a very similar round on the same court. Never said it's only physical but some fans are going on about lack of support at home and how he has to leave his wife and its insane. Its not terribly that shocking for Someone who at 30 and has won quite a lot to mentally check out from time to time and be more prone to lapses. Also in 2015 imo despite his stellar year you could sort of see the cracks in that he,wasn't 100% undefeatable in the,way he mighave,been in 2011.

It's has nothing to do with anyone else. Only Djokovic and his mind is what affects everything.

He's just not enjoying the game anymore. He's achieved his holy grail last year at French he's never really showed the same desire again.

Clearly other players have improved and caught up to him but Novak has declined a lot too. He's much slower around the court and the basic errors he made this year is alarming.

Thiem was good but Novak beat himself at times. The amount of shots he put wide or into the net was high, it's the worst he looked arguably in his whole career or maybe close to 2009 and 2010.

He needs to take a break and decide whether he wants to go again or whether he's had enough and happy with what what he achieved. Either way his legacy is secure as one of the greatest, not the greatest but in top 5.

I think the real problem might be Marko, who brought Pepe into Novak's inner circle in the first place.

It is difficult to imagine Boris Becker, Marian Vajda, Gebhard Phil Gritsch and Miljan Amanovic together losing to Pepe Imaz himself, unless the Djokovic family got involved. Novak Djokovic is a multi-million dollar business and it is no surprise that his family want a bigger role in it. But clearly the ship is sinking as of now.

lol i saw the reaction on facebook like and still think so many people read way too much into it, and also okay w/e so if everything isn't exactly hunky dory, let's blame jelena. this post is so full of bs, i dont know where to begin. why is it so hard for you guys to admit that a player who i believe is now 30 is not going to be playing his best and his prone to lapses. I mean ffs, nadal and fed were losing to people that they had a pretty good record against as well.

His decline was extremely sudden, so it's mental, has 0 to do with the fact that he's 30.

- self satisfaction

I've been married for a long time with the most lovely and tolerant woman ever (she does stay with me, so infinite tolerance). We never fight. But all my friends with biatchy wifes are now divorced at an alarming percentage. My wife never had that tone with me as Jelena had in that video. Neither did I have that kind of tone with her. It just seemed very strange to me... nut perhaps Nole is used to that.

Rme and sure Novaks decline is only sudden to to his hardcore fans who penned him to win like 5 slams or something after 2015 when in reality despite his good year he wasnt completely invincible and that showed in some performances. Also just for comparison sake, fed in 2008 had a bizarre year after winning 3 slams the year prior. Iirc he lost to fish,blake etc.
