Hybrid stringing -- how much is left / Can you get two racquets out of two packs

I bought my racquets at USTA in Orlando, Luxilon Element 1.25 mains & and Wilson Sensation 16g crosses.

I would be back in Orlando often enough I always restrung them at USTA too.

Now with COVID, I've had to use my local stringer, so I have to buy my own strings.

So I gave him a package of Lux Element and a package of Wilson Sensations, he restrung my Wilson and he gave me the excess string back.

When I have my other one restrung, is there likely to be enough left in each pack for a 2nd racquet?
or for example may be enough Wilson string left, since I twas just used on the crosses?

Just wondering if I need to provide two whole new packages next time.

Thanks

Depends on the size and pattern of the racquet, but even more so how much he used for the first job. If the stringer was exact you should be able to get a second set.

This is going to be simplistic, but the only way to be sure: measure how much is left. If that’s more than half the original length in the pack, you’re okay.

-if your raket/s are 16/19s then no problem; most competent stringers will/would/should have enough for 2 rakets
-when dealing with 18/20s rakets however, things get tricky!, even for a experienced stringer
-luxilon and some others ,(string manufacturers) are a bit of a cheap-skate!!, (they short change people a bit, partly due to meter vs feet conversion),, so more care is needed to measure/cut these strings (to get 2 rakets out of 2 packs of string)

Measure the string length. Is there at least half of what you started with? Chances are you have enough If the stringer knew what he was doing.

-EDITED
-there are several large size racquet 16/19 (WEED, Bigbubba,,,) that need extra string, something to consider also

I can squeeze out two sets of mains for my 18x20 Head Gravity from a 12.2 m pack. Just have to be careful and center the start. Unless your stringer is really clumsy with knots it should be fine.
