Perhaps we should move to MontanaYes, but I built an underground survival shelter in my backyard, so I'm fine now.

Not unless for each new sub-forum under Pickleball, TW removes a Tennis sub-forum - just like some public parks and private clubs.
All I ask of the pickle ballers is that they change to different materials for the paddles and balls to reduce sound pollution on adjacent tennis courts.
Exactly who do you think is human, o superior one?Since I never thought of pickleballers as human, it just occurred to me now: Does it bother them when our errant balls wander or fly onto their courts? It happens a lot more that way than the other way. They seem to keep a lot more control over theirs.

What an egomaniac!
Perhaps we should move to Montana

I'm sure they are too busy admiring your World's Greatest Dad t-shirt so they get fewer chances to hit an errant shot into your holy space.Since I never thought of pickleballers as human, it just occurred to me now: Does it bother them when our errant balls wander or fly onto their courts? I’m open to suggestions for incentivizing noisy pickleballers to start using them.Sound-reducing balls are already available.

How about balls with a bit higher bounce for those of us with lower back issues?Sound-reducing balls are already available.
Very. Pickleball is baby tennis.
One day, we will get a separate section for the art that is mini tennis.
The mini tennis bros have been preparing for pickleball for years. Wait till they arrive ... mini pickleball is going to be something special. I can picture it now ... some 85 year old pickleballer telling the 84 year old that hates mini pickleball warmup "you just can't do it".
I bet you have to speed up the mini pickleball video to see movement.
mini pickleball's breaching 1.4m social distancing rules so won't be allowed...........
You must have missed that Pro Kennex manufactures Kinetic PB paddles that retail for $180. It’s big business getting bigger. TTW will drink that milkshake through a very long straw and beware the forum member that objects to them keeping their offspring in the nest as long as it’s necessary before the sport can fly on its own.talk tennis should kick this FREELOADING pickleball forum off its website
as a wise man once said: "it's like birds. eventually, u gotta push the young out of the nest so they learn 2 fly. it's called free range parenting, and is the antidote 2 today's helicopter bubble culture. i hope it catches on..."

my son picked up pickleball at 13 and I kicked him out for good.
How about balls with a bit higher bounce for those of us with lower back issues?
Serious question: what the hell is pickleball and does it actually exist. It reads and sounds like a psy-op that no actual human plays, a sort of false opposition on this forum to make sure people actually play tennis.
It looks so hilariously stupid on video that I don’t believe it is actually played by anyone and the videos are faked, moon landing style, in a soundstage in Hollywood.

Never seen it tbh, but it is in the Olympics, so will have to classify it as a sport. What's your stance on water polo as a sport?
Extremely tough sport, requiring serious strength and stamina. Google 1956 Olympics Hungary vs USSR for the best example of how violent the game can devolve too when a little politics is added in.Never seen it tbh, but it is in the Olympics, so will have to classify it as a sport.
It definitely appears to be about as physically demanding as any ball sport. Swimming flat out, then having to constantly 'jump' and generate enough power from underwater to throw a ball sounds brutal. Water sports have all my respect.Extremely tough sport, requiring serious strength and stamina. I just realized there’s a few examples of sadly false elitism being expressed by tennis purists in this thread. There’s some serious translatable skills to be honed on the pickleball court, especially for dubs players but it will only happen if the proboscises take a downward angle from their current alignment. These folks have some serious hand/eye skills:
Ah, therein lies the problem. Just over 40% whereas a tennis ball will have close to a 55% bounce. Would have preferred that a ball chosen for p'ball that bounced closer to 100 cm when dropped from that height
- 1.4. Bounce. The ball shall have a bounce of 30 to 34 inches (76.2 to 86.4 cm) to the top of the ball when dropped from a height of 78 ...
