Wouldn't consider myself a Genie fan, but damn she destroyed Suarez Navarro. Well done Bouchard, well done!

Andrea Petkovic is her quarters opponent, a comeback tour player that is in same boat as Bouchard. Should be interesting match! Winner takes 110 points! And is assured a spot in MD of AO too!

Bouchard only won one time between their 5 meeting and that was back in 2014 Wimbledon 3rd round. Last time was in 2017 in three setter in Washington, d.c. round of 32, maybe 1st round! If ?Bouchard comes up with a win, she will be back in the high 80s, low 90s! AO main draw assured!

Bouchard b Petko 4-6 4-0 RET. (left thigh)

So now she's definitely in the AO MD:

89 5 Eugénie Bouchard 24.6 CAN1 692 +19 +127 Luxembourg SF Qual. Luxembourg W

and plays Goerges in the SF.

She complained to Joyce about the hard, deep, low balls from Petko.
How about slicing or dropshotting them?

Bouchard probably will not win against Goerge. But you never know! Finally; two real babes playing against one another, deep in the draw. One of the players is Bouchard and not been this deep into a semifinals since 2016!

Well f*** me, she's put together a few back to back match wins after a long time. Looking good - and I don't mean it that way - against Goerges too, spring in her step and all that.

Just gave up the break. Goerges has woken up. Fought off repeated attempts by Genie to secure the double break and now has broken her in turn.

One giant step up the ranking ladder in Bouchard's comeback attempt!
Semis this time around and it was a close match but the third set was just 1-6 however!
Mentally tired for Bouchard - she had to go through qualifying too! Goerges the number 1 seed in the tournament won
6-7(3), 7-5, 6-1.
