but Bianca can become #1 Canadian if she wins next match - SF with Maria, not easy - here.

These has been a lot of hype on up and comers that were never reach even half of the hype.

Bianca could be - she is a heck of a good player - but she also has a chronic back problem that I hope to the high heavens they can figure out and fix. It would be such a shame if her progression up the rankings is hampered by a physical problem.

I too have lower back problem. Hopefully her problem is similar to mine. and it has to do with spasms only and not disc problems. if it is disc problem then she will continue to have problems.

She really needs to make a decision-either she is going to give tennis 100%, or she will be a model/Instagram hottie like her sister. We get that she missed out on her childhood & the last several seasons have just been her going wild to compensate & she had the lawsuit distraction-but she must have enough money in the bank now to last several lifetimes-stop shilling for a million companies & jetting off doing photo-shoots every other week. It was dedication that got her to number five in the world, a slam final & two semis in one season.

Bouchard is #76 80 in the world going into hard court season in U.S. If she can make into the 3rd round of IW or Miami, Bouchard will be the 50s. Bouchard then can be in the main draw of ”any” WTA event without going through qualifying tournament first.

Seems that Bouchard’s 1st round was a close three set match with 4-6 at the third. 7-5, 3-6, 4-6 against Brengle(did not watch it).!

Bouchard just seems to have develop a patch of loosing matches again before she get back on track. The good news is she does not have many points to defend in the easily part of the year so she basically in good shape still.

I just thought of a new reason for her crappy start after the AO! Bouchard again changed to a new tennis coach! Ugh! Plus, there is a rumor that Bouchard is looking to settled down - so that will complicate her rankings too. Bouchard should just take a year off and pursue Bieber!

I think Genie should try hard for the next 2 years on the WTA and if she does not make back into the top 30; quit and go men shopping.

She is 24+ now and at 27, it will be the time to get hitch before reaching 30 for ladies. That is the threshold of going down hill for 90% of the ladies in terms of attractiveness. It is not my opinion but what other ladies have confided to be their beliefs.

For me most women are in their peak years from 30-60.

Love to see she still has some pulling power to get in on a WC. After all, she went from 192 to the 70s in a years time. Directors like that and usually will step in to helping a comeback former #5 get back on her feet again.

Should be great for Bouchard to play Helep! Cannot wait to see the scores of this match. Halep been playing pretty solid tennis since her lost in this year’s AO.

Bouchard 1st serve needs improvement. 43%, no aces and 4 double faults.

Trouble some lost for Bouchard because now going into U.S. hardcourt season, she will have do qualifying rounds to get into both IW and Miami tournaments. This is her year to get back on track IMHO! Big ranking points in both event. 3rd round in MD is mandatory at least in one of these events to go to MD without qualifying round! it making it through qualifying is worth 20-30 points? 3rd is like 90-120 points.
