Much too much pubcrawling time between now and SW19 for me to speculate on this...he needs a couple more wins here, then some good 250s results before IW/Miami. A seed, even a very cuspy one, at those SuperMasters 96-draws will be his last good shot at points bcoz Evans and "clay game" is oxymoronic.

Be a good test for him. Tsonga's role is pretty much gatekeeper in tennis. He doesn't usually lose to anybody terrible, and pretty much never beats anyone good. If you're beating guys like him and Gasquet, you officially belong in the conversation.
