Why would it matter? Djokovic will end his career with 20+ slams, Med will likely end his with <5. Even if the H2H ends up being 50-4 for Med, he's 9 years younger and he should have a lopsided H2H. The important thing are their career stats, and Med will never come remotely close to what Djokovic has done. The disparity in their careers will be staggering.Do you think he will end up with positive HC slam h2h?
exposed lolMedvedev is a pusher who has big serve. He was exposed by Dimitrov recently so let's not assume he will meet Djokovic in slam soon.
But yet he will. Don't underestimate Novak. Their next slam encounter won't be pretty.Honestly with Novak being 35 next season, Medvedev has no business losing to him in a BO5 again.
Yes, exposed. He showed everyone else that you can expose him by giving him sliced shots with no pace and making him come into the net.exposed lol
Yup, book's out on him. Don't need to know anything else.Yes, exposed. He showed everyone else that you can expose him by giving him sliced shots with no pace and making him come into the net.
Novak was under severe pressure for the CYGS and mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the season. You can't expect him to work out the correct tactics in that situation.Yup, book's out on him. Don't need to know anything else.
Novak should be pretty embarrassed he couldn't figure that out. Says a lot about what a fraud he must be.
Yes Novak's typically been one to cave under pressure. Probably what he's known for best. Either that or his lack of physical stamina. Can't decide which he's more well known for.Novak was under severe pressure for the CYGS and mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the season. Djokovic is great under pressure and has the best physical stamina of anyone, but even he has a limit to what he can handle. This was just too much even for him.Yes Novak's typically been one to cave under pressure. Probably what he's known for best. Either that or his lack of physical stamina. Can't decide which he's more well known for.
But hey, what can you expect when he's only played him (checks notes)...8 times before that final. That's just not enough time to figure out slicing is a good tactic.
But yet he will. Don't underestimate Novak. Their next slam encounter won't be pretty.
Trust me I know
USO 2016 was kinda a choke from Novak tbh but other than that I agreeI don't think it's possible to be in Novak's head.
Even when Stan had his number for a while there it was simply him outplaying Novak, not like he got tight and was 2nd guessing himself against the Stanimal.
2016 he simply wasn't playing well though. I never looked at that as a match he should've won but got tight.USO 2016 was kinda a choke from Novak tbh but other than that I agree
Cannot agree. Djokovic should be winnig a major final v Mededev. Zverev was the big test. Mededev had cramp as well. Novak threw away two consecutive USOs. If it was pressure then Djokovic would have lost to Zverev in semis.Novak was under severe pressure for the CYGS and mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the season. You can't expect him to work out the correct tactics in that situation.
He wasn't playing all that well but he was playing well enough to win2016 he simply wasn't playing well though. I never looked at that as a match he should've won but got tight.
