If rodick can't win wimbey, do you think nadal can win it? Now you guys see how hard it is to win wimbledon without a big serve or a shot to flat out shots or have some solid game at the net. Hell, you atleast need a big forhand and a big serve to reach to samis or final.

Now where are those folks who were speaking so proudly and loudly of nadal is the possible future wimbledon champ?

I don't think its gonna happen ever! Hell i don't even think he can pass gorrosjan at his best day!

Any way thats just my opinon. what do you guys think?

You smoking too much paper.. Grosjean will smoke nadal on grass.. Coria will probably smoke nadal on grass too.. Coria is pretty decent on fast surfaces because of his consistency.

Nadal's chances at Wimby are so slim he is in for some major frustration if he really thinks its his ultimate dream ( he said that in his interviews). So many people consider his game tailor-cut for clay, it probably is and he aint changing it thats for sure.

Nadal will improve his grass courts results but I doubt he will ever go past quarterfinals. He would simply have to change too much of his game to succeed.

Chadwixx's assertion if he got an easy draw he would win Wimbledon is pretty silly considering he lost to Gilles Muller in the second round. Any of the quartfinalists would have easily beat Muller. His other grass court experience this year includes first round loss to Alexander Waske ranked 195. Yup Chadwixx it looks like Nadal is going all the way next year at Wimbledon.

nadal said he was getting beat up 2 years ago on clay, and so he had to work hard and get better on clay.,. well now he is one of the best on clay,, give him some time, and i'm sure he'll be fine on grass,,, and about nadal not being good on a fast surface, he beat up on federer at the nasdaq, but burned out the last 2 sets, so he'll be just fine.

Do you know nasdaq is the slowest hard court? US Open hard court is the fastest, faster than Wimbledon right now.

The difference is Nadal's game is suited for slower courts, servere western grip, staying far behind baseline, which is suited to fast court.

I try to avoid saying anyone CAN'T win something. But the chances does seem very very slim. Even if Federer happened to get injured, there would be so many better grass players that could whip him.

Nadal's game is tons of spin, pushing, and a very weak serve. You can't win on grass with a slow serve. Grass isn't the court for long rallies like clay. I only see Nadal winning French Open's over and over, because clay is the only court that suits him.

Clay lets him push, get long rallies, and he doesn't need an enormous serve to win either. And there's just too many other great grass players that will be in his way. His chances of winning a wimbledon are as slim as Roddick's.
