I purchased a pair of Gel Res 9s from TW in late July this year. They developed an annoying clicking/poping sound within the shoe while playing, mainly when I would split step or push off aggressively to recover.
I think it is an issue of the midsole separating and/or becoming unglued possibly. I sent them an explanation along with the pics of the shoe and receipt which they asked for. The shoe was well within the 6 month warranty.
They wrote me back twice insisting on getting a video with the ''squeaking'' sound (as they put it, even though I never described it as such) and would not return the shoe without it.

There is no way to get a video of this because it only occurs when I'm playing not just standing and there is no way to get audio of it within the shoe as Im playing without some kind of high end equipment and film crew. The screech of the shoe on court would also have to somehow be edited out as well to isolate the popping sound. Totally unreasonable ask of Asics and they should know this.
Anyway, thankfully @TW Staff returned the order and gave me a refund. Thanks guys.
As for Asics, your customer service is shameful and you lost my business from now on.
