Indian Wells Attendance

Got a week off work and was considering booking a last minute trip to Indian Wells for 3-4 days. I've heard it's one of the best tournaments in the world to attend. For anyone that has attended can you please give me some advice. Am I delusional in thinking I can get basic day passes this late in the game for the early rounds? What would you recommend for someone on a budget? I don't need to top seats in the main stadiums as I'd just like to watch some good tennis at the smaller venues. I'd also like to maybe see the top guys practice a little. Thanks.

Definitely worth it. Affordable if you do what youve described. Shouldnt have any trouble getting day passes. Probably the best venue to watch top players practice.

No brainer for fun level. Grounds passes will surely be available Monday 3/11 and beyond. Possibly already sold out for this Sat and Sun. Problem, though not really a problem, by Monday losses by many in the tourney to that point will send them on their way to Miami or Phoenix or wherever. If you do go, and you don't have the best tennis time of your life, seek medical assistance.

Scalp your tickets in the parking lot. It's technically illegal, but it routinely done and the law has never been enforced. In the rounds prior to R4, you can move down into the first few rows because the box seat holders often do not show. This doesn't count for Fed or Nadal matches, which will always be packed. Anyone else is fair game.

I've gone twice...both early rounds and it was definitely worth it.

Matches and practices going on everywhere...pros and coaches youd recognize just walking around past you.

Go, you wont regret it!

You shouldn't have an issue. It's a very well attended event.. but it's a massive event. You may not get to see all the matches you want but worst case you'll find a spot at a court and just have to park there for the day.

It’s an amazing place.

Get a general admission day pass and just hang out at practice courts and smaller courts. Big stadium cool and all but I prefer the intimacy of the small courts.

Have an awesome time!
