Is 1 regular match enough to stop mixed from counting?

First of all, I don't really know how the system works, so maybe this doesn't even make sense. I was a 4.5C a while ago. In my last season, I won all my singles matches, but no blowouts, and I lost a doubles match, and I did not get bumped. I was out of the country for a while, and my rating expired, so I am now 4.5S. I am playing on a mixed doubles team, and TennisRecord puts me at 4.68 (I guess S ratings are very volatile, at least on TR). I was happily looking forward to playing on a 4.5 team this year, but then I realized I'll be traveling for basically the entire season, and I'd only be able to get in a match or two. I really don't want to get bumped, since I would be a weak 5.0. My questions are
1. If I don't play, is there any chance of getting bumped only from mixed?
2. If I play one match of 4.5, will that annul all the mixed matches?
3. Can I annul the mixed matches by playing Combo?

And to be clear, it's not about sandbagging. My partner is just about 0.5 points stronger than her computer rating, maybe just due to actually improving.

1. Yes, if you played enough rated mixed matches, there is a chance you will get a 5.0M rating (M for mixed exclusive), and you won't be able to play 4.5 next year, unless you're able to appeal.

2. No, you have to play at least three rated matches to get a C-rating that would supersede the M-rating.

3. It depends if your Combo league counts for ratings - each area has their own rules for rating eligibility.
