Is it normal this pain in my wrist ?

I haven't played tennis for such a long time... I played like now and then like 2 weeks ago... Now I got into training since this monday... 1 hour and 30 minutes everyday...

I never had any kind of pain regarding to tennis... but now my wrist is killing me. I'm right handed so the pain comes mostly from the inside side past the bone... I mean it's not right on the wrist its like 3-5 cm away from the wrist bone... Is this just soreness because I haven't played in such a long time or is it something serious ? I'm giving it a rest till monday... Im putting it on ice for 15 minutes from now on... I started trainig tuesday but only today is when it hurts the most...

I hope is just soreness... please let me know your advices...

It is must likely it is sore, I say you should ice it 10 mins every other hour *dont put direct ice put a towel or something like that in front* if it doesn't get better after a WEEKS REST I suggest you see a doctor. don't play on it until its absolutely gone, people might say "don't be a wuss" but truth is if your such hardcore you may be looking at a fracture, take it easy.

It is not "normal" to experience pain anywhere. The type of injury you suffer can only be determined by your doctor.

thanks for all the input... im under "ice" for about 15 minutes 3 times a day...its not ice its those blue liquid gel's...it's the same thing doesn't matter...

canadian chic of course pain is not always normal... but When I said normal I meant if this was only pain from soreness since I hadn't played tennis for such a long time... I don't feel pain in the joint itself it's more around of it... on the muscle I'd guess... anyway I won't have practice till monday... if it hurts till then I won't practice... but Im going to see my physical therapist this afternoon so hopefully he will know what to do..
