I counted people's comment so far.
16 of people believe nadal can win more than 15slams.
And 16 of people don't believe it.
Makes think twice...
But
I believe he can win exactly 3RG titles not anywhere else.
He will surpass Sampras' record before he retires.
I don't know he can pass Federer's.

A good few years ago me and my mate were talking about Rafa (2008-09ish I think). He asked me how many Slams I thought he and Roger would win. I said Nadal would win 15 (1,9,4,1) and Federer 18 (4,2,7,5). I don't think Rafa could win another 2 wimbledons but he could win 1 (maybe) and got another couple RGs. I do think 15 is the absolute maximum

negative.

I happen to be nadal`s toughest critic.

that much should be quite clear already.

that other place is just a distant memory now folks.

lets drink together to the new beginnings.

warriors constantly adapt and evolve. that is what we are good at.

As usual you are correct. At absolute most he has 2 more FO in him, and I don't mean just physically, I honestly believe that he is to retire soon. He is only playing tennis for Uncle Toni now.

Federer is trying to wait him out, and it is a bit of a race between them at this point.

I doubt it at this point.. Maybe another RG title or two.. Thats it. Hes gonna have to win off of the French if he wants 15. He isn't going to win another 3 French Open titles

Good luck trying to stop Nadal at Roland Garros. When Nadal returned this year, he was aiming to peak for 2014. 2013 is the transition year, yet he was still too great for Djokovic. 2013 was to be Djokovic's only chance.

3 more Roland Garros titles is the minimum scenario for Nadal. The maximum could be anything. Plus the Indian Wells result proves Nadal is still a contender on hardcourts.

At the slams, Nadal is on a big winning streak over Djokovic/Murray/Federer. Nadal has won his last 11 slam meetings with those guys (2 vs Djokovic, 4 vs Murray, 5 vs Federer).

That last statistic is far more impressive than most people realize---and far more telling. Unless he is injured or falls to an early upset (as at Wimbledon), Rafa, in the second week of a slam, should be the favorite to win it. People who don't like him are in such a hurry to bury him. He isn't done. Not by a long shot.

as with any sport, you need a little bit of good luck and somebody else has to have an off year.

I have a feeling that nole is due an off year in 2014. murray is going to finish him off for a while at the u.s. open. that could lead to losses at the Australian open for nole.

this might be the opening nadal needs to make a run for 2 slams in 2014. RG is off limits obviously so we know he will snatch that one.

The last statistic is also a lie. He hasn't faced Federer and Murray in slams since falling to Djokovic 3 straight times.

LOL he's only played 4 majors since and 2 of them were RG as if he'd lose to either of those 2 there

how many total majors do you see in nadal`s future?

can we say that he could play a total of 16-17 majors for the remainder of his career?

15 might be tough.

14 is a good possibility but he has to stop jacking off with his golf, poker, fishing, and hanging out with his soccer superstar buddies.

I guess he cant see that his game is in shambles. or he just does not care anymore
.

Too funny!

14 with a possibility for 15 if he can stop jacking off with his golf, poker, fishing, boating, and chilling out with soccer superstars.

Yes, 15 is definitely attainable for Nadal as is more than that. If he ends up with say only 13 or so, I'll be surprised, as I do think he'll continue playing at a high level for at least a few more years.

lets see what he shows at the u.s. open.

another early loss--like the one at Wimbledon-- may be a sign of things to come but at least it will motivate him to at least continue dominating the clay circuit.

clay is really he is good for now anyway since he absolutely refuses to improve.
