It's finally here : This Olympics are going to be Zverev's Davis cup 2010 moment.

Z has turned to Zod folks.

That's all what she wrote for big 3 era. Djokovic will win 2 more slams. Nadal one more Federer none.

This USO or from next AO, Zod is taking over. Hopefully Med and Thiem win their fair share too.

I rather think he’ll slow down because he has everything he wants. He explicitly said the Olympic Gold is bigger than any Slam for him.

Didn’t we say this after his WTF win (which was actually far more impressive) in 2018?

Hold your horses. He still has proven absolutely nothing in Bo5. That format gives him issues that can be masked in Bo3. He does have a high peak level but I do not trust him in the slightest to hold his nerve vs a great player after 4 hours on court.

Street has won much bigger and more difficult tournaments than the OG.

True.

There was a flood of it.
Many people expected Zverev made his breakthrough. That his time finally came. So many times:
Rome 2017.
Montreal 2017.
Madrid 2018.
WTF 2018.
USO 2020.
Madrid 2021.

Pure speculation. Since 2017.

I have a feeling yes. If he can play at that level or close to it then he can win the us open!

He has all the weapons to do it. If this gives him the belief then he absolutely can. The guy is only 24 and like you say that when the Djokovic era began. It could the same for Zverev but he must back it up now. Time will tell.

Djokovic and Nadal especially won’t make it easy for him but if Zverev can bring this form to grand slams even they might be powerless to stop him.

Although medvedev is my favourite from the next generation I also like Zverev too and do feel he’s probably got the biggest potential to be no1 and win multiple slams.

I feel though he’s matured a bit. Plus he has started to get more consistent in slams. He goes pretty deep into all them lately. He reached the us open final last year and probably should have won.

I think he has a good chance to take the us open but he must back his momentum up from here. When he’s on like this he can blow anyone away.

Everyone knows he can hang with the best in BO3 format.
As far as BO5 goes he hasn't even got a Novak 2008 yet , 2011 seems outlandish.
