Unfortunately her comeback is ilegal because she has the legal status of RETIRED...and she will have many problems in the future because of that status trying to justify to the revenue office in her country the potential fabulous incomes she may have...abnormal quantities of money for a RETIRED person...Poor Justine,I dont want to be in her skin...Perhaps she will end up playing tennis in the jail's court...By far the most talented player in the WTA, and that backhand is a thing of beauty. She's playing so aggressive too, I wouldn't be surprised if she won it all.
Hope that in her next picture she wont appear with the strips outfit of the jail....The WTA need more players with the style, grace and game of Justine Henin. She, unlike the sisters from Compton, Ca., is a credit to the sport.

I agree with you 100%. Forget Serena, Henin is better player. Serena gets so much attention because she is part of the whole Williams Sisters blah blah blah that everyone has to talk about. Henin is the better player not only all around talent but surface for surface as well. Serena only has as many slams as she does, because of Henin retirement. GO HENIN
I think Henin is better too and that could be the reason Serena doesn’t like her. I can never forget Serena accused Henin as a cheater back in 2003 FO. She gets too much attention and that’s why she’s spoiled. I don’t think she never change her mind by giving Henin credit for beating her. Luckily, Serena didn’t threaten to beat up Henin in the locker room. In 2009 FO, Serena also accused Martinez Sanchez as a cheater, and physically threaten Sanchez by saying "I’m going to get you in the locker room". It was a scary moment, and good thing was Serena won the match. Had Serena lost that match, who knows what would have happened.
Henin did lie in 2003 FO...so Serena was right in accusing her.

It is nice to have Justine back...and Cljisters too. No dangling earings, no shieks, just good old tennis. I do not like Dementieva because of her long jutting toss; not to mention her shrieks.
Justine Henin, along with her country woman, will return respectably to the sport. We'll have a Grand Slam champion we can all be proud of.
ITA. It's a sheer pleasure to watch her play. Noone else has her talent in WTA.By far the most talented player in the WTA, and that backhand is a thing of beauty. She's playing so aggressive too, I wouldn't be surprised if she won it all.
This thread is about the majesty of Justine Henin, not the overweight, profane Schoolyard Bully who, by right, should be on a 12 month suspension.
1. Yes it is nice to have Justine back.
3. Henin did cheat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cDonQt1zn8.. watch at 8:50 Serena even can see it notice the slowing in the serve swing and the way she is standing after her serve. Continue watching to 9:10-9:20 when they zoom in on her with her hand up. Think that doesn't make a difference it could have very well put her up 40-0..harder for Henin to break much easier for Henin to close that match. There goes a seond French Open..but that being said it doesn't matter that much as it balances out with the MIA of Henin.
The question I would ask is this: if Serena Williams (or anyone else on tour) had raised their hand the way Henin did in this scenario, would they have confessed it as Williams wanted Henin to after the fact? There are a few who might, but I'd wager most wouldn't. Is that good? Nope. But is it realistic, given the stakes involved? Probably. But Serena is always going to make a big deal about this kind of thing, since she has that perpetual chip on her shoulder thanks to her silly father. If the official didn't see it, it didn't happen - I'd imagine that would be the stance most players would take.I'm a fan of her game, but watching that makes me a bit sick to my stomach. Why pull a move like that?
I just started following tennis again in the last few years, so catching up on what's been going on over the last decade or so. I've mostly seen her play in YouTube vids and some Tennis Channel replays & instruction segments. Thanks for the link. I had heard about an incident, but had never seen it.

Yeah, just watch the clip. It looks like they never asked Justine anything; the umpire just said he didn't see her put her hand up. And, of course, Serena had "helped" with an out call just one point before, which is why the crowd were jeering and Justine had her hand up...
That is the exact problem with the situation. Same thing with the Gonzo incident against Blake where the ball hit off the frame of his racket and he claimed it never touched it. We'll never know but the point is the ones who do it still did it. So even if you say oh the other might have the ones who did still do it. And If I recall there was another incident with Henin at the Aus Open not sure though might just be going nuts here.
Don't think you get it... I am not sure Justine knew what was happening... if Serena's serve had been out... and she went to recieve on the other side you could state she knew. The way things unfolded how do you know Justine knew it was a first or second serve?
Serena should have taken a more active role addressing the issue... do not put it on Justine. Watch the video... no one asked Justine... it was a quick discussion between Serena and the Umpire and then she served... it all happened very quickly. If I was Serena I would have been up at the chair discussing it much further.
I agree Serena definitely should have been more active, but then again by this point in the match I don't think Serena wanted to be there anymore as you could hear by the crowd. He turned and looked at Henin you can see at 9:11 he does that, and Henin simply just stands there. It is a good point though Henin might not know what serve it is, but I would find that hard to believe. As Serena asked if it is was first serve? The chair said he did not see her hand up so it is pretty clear that Serena was called the fault. However with all the crowd noise who knows what Henin thought was going on.

henin is a cheat and i hate her.
She made a lovely bride. Any real man would be proud to have her on his arm. Too bad her former hubby wasn't man enough to uphold his end of the deal.
