Hey I noticed in tonight's match against Tommy Haas that James Blake didn't have a Dunlop stencil on his racquet. Does anyone know if he's in negotiations with them, or perhaps shopping around for something else?

He was Dropped from Dunlop.
I talked to the Dunlop field rep at Cincy. His contract is ranking related. He dipped too far down, so he is out. He is playing much better being in the final today. Dunlop should reconsider. Maybe he has a clause that gets him back.

I grabbed Mark's card, for instance when jerks (trevor) like the above poster question your word. Actually I grabbed it to know when new Dunlop gear is coming out. Trevor that post was lame. Email Mark and find out for yourself. He should know Blake's situation, I don't know, he only works for the freaking company. Hey Trev, you hear that, that was the door slamming shut on you and that ill fated post. I admit that was easy, sorry Trevor, you walked into that one. Try posting under, LOOK ITS TREVOR WITH HIS FOOT IN HIS MOUTH.
Better check before you call someone a liar. Where I come from that is pretty insulting. Come correct and post the response when you email Mark to check to see if I am still a liar. I'm sure he will clear it up for you. OUT!

I watched Blake playing Lopez today, and I'm pretty sure his racket had the Dunlop logo on it.

Blake should get his deal back.
Only if he wants Dunlop back. Blake is one of the good guys on tour. He is extremely popular stateside. The many tourneys I have been to, he always signs autos for kids and fans. He has had a tough year last year. I just think Dunlop should have stuck by him a little bit more. I suspect that James will be playing with a Head Prestige very soon. Just a guess on my part.
Tough thing this week. I like James and I always like to see him win. But he plays Rusedski Tuesday and I hope Greg thrashes him. Tough opener for Grinning Greg. Go G-Force, keep your summer rolling.
Between Ginepri, Rusedski, and Blake, we have three good comeback stories this year. I hope Gambill follows them next year. Go JanMike.
