I can tell you that as of about two years ago, JCS no longer strings for clubbers. Not sure if a storefront on East 52 or 53 St. is still maintained. Good news is that his former maggiordomo, ROMAN PROKES, back then at least had spun off and was stringing for the common man out of the same facility. His own outfit was called ****. He turned AA onto Big Banger strings - enough credibility for ya?

Yeah, I know Roman (and Todd) very well and they are fantastic guys..They string and customise for a lot of pros and would also string for amateur players if you take your racquets to them (they are in NYC). E-mail me if you need more info.

Jay's site never really had specs, but rather general indications of certain measurements. You're not missing anything. Did you check to see if his site had been captured by Internet Archive (www.archive.org)?
