Just got my new Blades!!

I doubt he would be allowed to post pictures.
I wonder what "clash technology" means. I know the paint jobs are similar, but does that mean the new blades will have a really low RA.

Why wouldn’t he the new pure strike is posted. It’s not like the new Wilson paint job is something special or the design has changed if it looks like the clash with its paint block color scheme. I guess thats why Babolat is 1 in sales right now

Maybe it can help to set YT subtitles to English one. Probably not the best translation, but it might be good for a first impression.

I hit the 18x20 this weekend. Very different, much softer and more headlight! More dwell time. I strung with a thin string since it's an 18x20 so I went with Solstice Power 18 at 30 lbs. It's a great frame and beautiful cosmetics.
Interesting that Wilson went with more headlight approach on the new blade... that sort of goes against the dna of the blade and may deter people like myself and others who like the blade for it's stock heft in the hoop and swingweight. Did the swingweight of the new blade feel lower?

blade's biggest strength was control (especially directional)... the key is whether control is the main feature of the racquet still. any thoughts there?

any comparison between the actual clash and the blade with "clash technology"?

tried the clash regular and tour and wasn't quite impressed, based on reported vibration frequency and flex i should've loved it but actual hitting didn't feel "that" -soft-

but i'm a big fan of the 2015 blades, didn't like the cv blades too much even though i love dead/muted set ups

Just an FYI, the OP doesn’t actually have the new Blades, so I doubt there will be a comparison. I’m sure TW will do a playtest soon of the Clash 98, and that should give some idea of that technology in a 98” frame

it raises another question though, if it is true that the new blade will have the so called "clash technology", doesn't it just make it very confusing?

the way i understand the "clash" concept is that it's somewhat similar to the youtek, except to a higher level

if wilson intends to "infuse" this clash technology onto their existing lines, why didn't they just introduce this as a new gen material? ie) adding countervail to all their lines, now they can do clash blades, clash pro staves, clash ultras, etc

they released clash as a racquet line... having a blade with clash technology is like having a pro staff blade or a prestige radical?

If it’s a head light racquet (6 pts or more) and super flexy the line would have deviated from what it’s always been. Make a new line if you’re going to radically change them.

I haven't used the pre-CV blades that are so popular on this board. Apart from being the epitome of control and providing for beautiful slices, what other qualities they known for? Semi stiff but not too stiff right?

Fortunately they couldn't release a racquet called the Wilson Countervail; agree that they are creating a clash of nomenclatures.

Haven't we seen the new Blades in a Tsitsipas video?? Looks like the Clash with green where the red is on the Clash??
