Limited Choices

Hi

I would really appreciate your help guys in trying to select a string setup. The thing is that I only have access to a limited list of strings. Trying out different setups is the ideal, but my budget is tight so I would like to try out the setups most recommended.

My playing style; heavy topspin, mainly baseline based but sometimes use the net to finish off points.
My stroke is very fast full swing. semi western FH and 2HBH.

I would like the stringed to

add lots of spin
add decent control both in terms of pinpointing and in the sense that the ball lands in after full strokes.
and enough comfort and feel

I play 5-6 hours per week. I would like the strings to live for a minimum of 14-16hours without breaking or loosing significant playing characteristics.

The strings are (most of them are 16g)

Polys:

Technifiber Black code
Technifiber Red code
Prince Beast XP
Pro Hurricane (Tour and non Tour)

Non Polys:
Wilson red alert
Head RIP control
Prince Syn gut with duraflex
Technifiber XR3
Yonex 880Ti Soft

1) What setup either full bed or hybrid would you guys recommend for the most spin potential, control, and longevity (not breaking or becoming dead) and with enough comfort and feel.

2) If I were to use RIP control in a hybrid as cross with one of the 4 polys as main, which one would suit it best and how long will that setup last both in terms of breakage and how soon the polys in the main go dead.

NB Alu power rough, Big banger original, LXN adrenaline, and TIMO are all available but from my understanding is that these LXN string will go dead faster than the 4 polys above and more expensive thus not as practical.

If you are looking for 14-16 hours of playability, try the Tecnifibre polys. RedCode and BlackCode are both very good. BlackCode was one of my favorites.

I would use TF BC 17G mains in the 48-52 range with PSGD crosses +3 lbs above mains in the crosses. To save a few $, try the TF RC. BC maybe give a bit more spin and is maybe a bit softer but both are hi-quality strings.

I would try black code mains with the rip control in the crosses. Will increase amount of feel from full poly and still allow for tons of spin.

thanks guys for the input..

just to clarify. I only have access to TF redcode, black in 16g and beast xp and prohuricane also in 16g.

1) With that it mind Should I choose red code or black code ?

2) My first preference after reading on these strings on this forum was blackcode16 mains and Rip control 16 cross.. Would that be the optimal in my case to give the most spin, control, comfort and playability for 16 hours with full fast swing

3) I have an old reel of wilson ultra synthetic gut 15L.. I know that it is a horrible string but will it serve the purpose of the PSGD in the crosses with either redcode or blackcode or is it better not to waste the mains demo-ing it

Cheers

Add the Yonex Poly Tour Spin to the list. Plays rather close to the Black Code but at a cheaper price.

Go for the blackcode/RIP combo. Especially for spin and feel.

I am debating whether or not to try RIP mains with a good poly cross. I hit with a lot of spin, so that would still allow for the spin with the extra feel of the multi main.

All of those poly strings play well in a full set. I would just try each of them and cut them out every 15 hours. Prince Beast is my favorite out of your selection. Little expensive for my budget but it is a very good poly. It works well in a hybrid as well.
