Logo on strings?

When you purchase a racquet pre-strung it usually has a logo painted on the strings. I recently purchased my first racquet that needed stringing, which of course did not have a logo. I noticed some on-line racquet sales offer logo painted on as an option.
(1)Do most people just not bother with the logo?
(2) Is it considered "un-cool" or "beginner" to have the logo?
(3) If answer to #2 is: NO, then are there stencils available for D.I.Y.?

Thank you for any responses!

I notice you're new - so welcome! You may not know the search button - but if you use it searching for "stencil" or "stencils" and you'll find more threads than you have time to read. To answer your questions:

1. It's a preference thing, some do, some don't, some stringers do, some stringers don't.
2. No.
3. Yes.

There is stencils available either from the manufacturer ( plastic ones), online for you to cutout, or buy from a store that may carry or get them for you. There is stencil paint available also. REMEMBER: it isn't advisable to use that stencil paint on a carpeted area. It should be done outside or on top of some sort of papers. Just a suggestion. Also, welcome to the site. Enjoy.

i have found that younger people really like the stencils. older people usually couldn't care less. sometimes i stencil my racquet, sometimes i don't.

I really like the stencils and I don't think it's an "uncool" or "beginner" thing.. Pro's have the stencil ink on their strings all the time. My 2 Dunlops are getting restrung by my coaches friend and he usually puts the ink on the strings, he put it on my friends Prince. I really hope he puts it the Dunlop logo on my strings, the logo looks awesome :p.

You don't have to put it on. Companies want you to in order to promote their company of course. If you are sponsored by a company they will requre you to have it on. Some stringers will put stencils on, it doesn't really matter to me, because I'm not sponsored. It's not un-cool, most people don't have their strings painted. Sometimes you can buy or print them of the companies website.
