i guess thats an emphasis on "were," they have gone crazy with all sort of ridiculous head shapes.Head were very consistent with their head shape.

I got the 2nd iRadical in. I'll post pics of it side by side to show the standard and CAP set up soonPost some pics with cap grommets.
I'm thinking leather grip and lead in the hoop at the moment.
PT113B (these twins) are identical mold to iRadical/TiRadical and LMRadical MP (no ridges). The layup is different and softer.
Just like the retail stocks, they are 95 sq in.

Just stopped by to say...
Prestige
Novak used to play with the LM Radical MP Tour. I've had a chance to hit with his old LM Radical and it felt stiffer than the PT113B. I also owned an H22 (nBlade PJ) from his batch and that felt really soft, softer than the PT113B.thanks for a reply.
for some reasons it looks bigger and rounder. what years of retail radicals we're talking about?
i think radical's head rounder and bigger since ~6 year ago. I think it was like prestige, say, 10+ years ago....

The PT113B is a twin tube construction (like LM Radical) but the layup is very different from the others mentioned. There is more weight in the head and throat, therefore, the starting SW is high. My rackets are 335g strung, but the SW is 345 (balance is 32.5cm). Novak's racket is SW of 370, but it swings nicely. My arm got tired after about 20-30 minutes of swinging his racket and I started mistiming my shots. The racket is extremely stable.
The flex is 61 (strung), however, as compared to YT Prestige MP (strung flex is very close), the PT113B feels at least 4-5 points lower flex. It flexes different.
As for the head shape, I believe it is the angle of those shots and the paintjob that makes it look rounder or bigger. It is, indeed, the same shape and string pattern as LM Radical or TiRadical or iRadical or MG Radical... I use the MG Radical grommets on them.
thats what she saidfor some reasons it looks bigger
Since it is a pro stock, it would be hard to compare. My setup is 335g strung with Tour bite Soft (50/48 lbs), synthetic grip (Karakal) and two overgrips. No dampener.Would you mind sharing your setup, just for the sake curiosity? My ti rads have about 3.5g at each 3 and 9 and babolat leather and an OG and come in at 340g.
So you went with caps on both i rads. Must play super-solid with that set up.
Was busy with some string jobs on customer and my own Head racquets
additional 4g of lead from 3/9 o'clock down to 5/7 o'clock.
I needed some more weight but without adding too much SW or weight in the throatI'm curious to hear from you about benefits of this particular placement of lead, it's interesting.
I did. I only played with the standard grommet for a couple sets before putting the caps on. The balance didn't change much and feels pretty good and is fairly solid. Need to test it out some more with a hard hitting opp to see how it is. currently strung up with Prince Prem Attack/Control. The other is with a Tier One poly, Tour Status. So you went with caps on both i rads. Must play super-solid with that set up.

synthetic gut helps a lot in the comfort department. it does give up some control, though, as you get a more trampoline-y response.I'd like to be added to your esteemed club. I just dumped my 3 very comfortable, yet wet-noodle-like Prince Tour 100 18x20's for 2 Graphene Radical Pro's. Very impressed so far. I'm still trying to get my set up right. I currently have them at 50 lbs. with Volkl Cyclone 18g. They're a little harsh with a full bed of poly, but power and control is HUGE. I'm going to restring them with some Gosen micro 17g at 50lbs and see if that loosens them up a little. Anyone out there have recommendations for a softer set up... please reply!
Thanks.
I strung up one with poly after using a full bed of sg. i noticed the nice pocketing and action on the ball but it did a feel a bit harsh. I was at 45#s too. With the SG, I didn't feel I lost any control Just some spin on ground strokes and kicker. not sure bout the i.radical ... that graphene rad pro is a beast of a racquet though. it's just a conundrum bc it's so hard on the joints w/ poly. its ok with syn gut, just a little less forgiving on hitting inside the lines.I strung up one with poly after using a full bed of sg. i noticed the nice pocketing and action on the ball but it did a feel a bit harsh. I think the RA on the iRad is 64. I've only played for a short time with these. Hi guys,
I am using IG Radical Pro. Have not tried other Radical series such as Graphene XT, Graphene, or even the older Microgel series, that are currently (still) available in TW. Just wondering if it is worth exploring? Is that anything that is close to IG Radical Pro? Any thoughts would be great...
Thanks.
I think the best way is to do it by feel. But if you want a great starting point. I put 1/4 in lead, on both sides of the grommets, the entire length of the bumperguard (10 all the way to 2). Leather grip, and some weight in the handle to get the balance where I wanted it. I ended up adding capped grommets just because I had a set, but I think it would be fine without them...at least to start
Enjoy the frames!!
It's about the journey....not the destination!!
Excited about playing with this soonAdded about 25 grams in the handle and plays like a dream! I am super excited. This thing feels better than anything I have tried in the past 5 years.
Excited about playing with this soon

My favorite radical is the first generation Rad Trisys MP
From left to right: 1 bumblebee, 2 zebra's, 3 LMs, 1 Ti, all made in Austria. Don't say I need to weed my garden. Cameo from our stone pig.
@vsbabolatanybody know what this red plastic insert is in my Radical Trysis 260?
Yes, thats the IDS and its Sorbothane. You take it off if you would like to.anybody know what this red plastic insert is in my Radical Trysis 260?
To clarify what the guys above said - it is the "Integrated Dampening System" that some of Head series had.anybody know what this red plastic insert is in my Radical Trysis 260?
Are you referring to the MP versions of these racquets? Depending on the iteration, the MP and OS could play quite differently. The Bumblebee rads played like a tech-free graphite racquet in both MP and OS. Not mushy but not stiff either. the MP played just like the OS but with a smaller sweetspot. SW was high but not unmanageable for most players. The MP played stiffer than the PT 280 and frankly, was only above average. The PT 280 was really a better racquet. Similar power, larger sweetspot yet more comfortable. How does each of these models play? ... specially the Bumblebee and the Zebras?... compared to the LMs?

thanks!I'm not that person (obviously), but maybe that's supposed to be the IDS.
It was on Prestige Pro 600 too but not advertised. To clarify what the guys above said - it is the "Integrated Dampening System" that some of Head series had.
Do Radical Bumblebees Dream of Purple Alu Rain?
