Looking for a racket that has:

25-TENNIS

Semi-Pro
• good stock stability
• good control, low power.
• a slightly closed pattern (16x20 or 18x19) or a 18x20 that provides decent spin.
• is good for a modern spinny game, but also let's you hit flat winners.
• great comfort, but not too soft (60-65 Ra.)
• a headsize of 95-100 sq. inch
• I think I like a more solid, but dampened feel (Like Blade V7, VCP with VDM) better.

Some of the older Yonex Vcore Pro's/ Tour's seem to fit these specs. What other rackets do you think will fit too? Doesn't have to be a new stick, older iterations are fine too.

Oh forgot to mention in the first post: it must be good for one-handed backhands too!
My current VCP100 really improved my OHB.

I second the ProKennex answer. Stability, mutened comfortable stiffness is sort of their thing. Not personally familiar with their lines, so can't give an exact rec, but they should offer exactly what you're looking for/

I just don't understand what part of V7 does not do this? Especially 18m...

Just pick one and stick with it. You’d be 100% fine with a v7 blade. It does everything you want. Stick to it and build your game with it.
I've demoed the V7 16x19 last year. I liked the feel, stability and plow. It was great for hitting flat FH winners, but since my game is quite spinny, I could generate enough spin to play effective. Also, I didn't like it on my OHB. So I went with the VCP100 which has also great feel, plenty spin and stability (with lead) and it is really nice on the OHB.

There's not much wrong with this racket, but I think there are better sticks out there.
In comparison with my VCP 100 (350g strung), I want:
• Bit more control
• Smaller headsize (97,98) for a faster feel through the air.
• And I want it to be better on flat shots. So maybe a bit less spin (but not too little), and a slightly lower launch angle.

Maybe something in between the Blade 16x19 and the VCP100?

Did you not try 18m v7? I play OHBH and 18m hits a very good one..

How about the VCP330? Is that one good for flat hitting?

I've been looking for a HD lately, but can't find one for a good price (used)

check the classifieds here see them frequently. I honestly love the 330 more than the HD and I’m a flat hitting die hard 18x20 guy.

Pure Strike Tour - even though it’s a 16x19, the pattern is very dense in the middle and it does not play like an open pattern in the sweet spot.

You could also try their 18x20 regular weight version, but it is a lighter, less stable racquet and I have more control with the PS Tour which is a 12 oz, 21mm beam racquet with SW above 330 and RA around 65.

Do you use the green or navy version? And how does it compare to the HD and Vcore 95?

I don't think Babolats are something for me. Comfort is a must

I’m also a huge fan of the Blade’s muted feel and giant sweet spot. I passed on it because of its low power and high swing weight. I settled on the Phantom 100P. Easier to flick around and create spin, a bit more power, and that same plush feel (similar to Pure Strike) and big sweet spot. Good luck!

owned a navy 310 and green 330 and HD. The green 330 is my favorite Vcore pro most stable, good power and control. Vcore 95 is more maneuverable but less stable and less out of the box power.

Is there a noticeable difference in feel between the navy and green?
And how much does the launch angle of the Vcore Pro 330 differ from the HD and 95?

Prince textreme Tour 100p. It has an open 18×20 pattern. I use the 2015 version. The newer version has good reviews as well.

I demoed the 2019 Textreme Tour 100 310 last year, together with the PS97 CV and 2020 Ezone 98. I played only 15 minutes with the Prince. Too much power and an ugly high launch angle. Didn't like the feel and grip either. The 100p probably doesn't have the angle problem, but I'm not sure about the feel and grip...

green has VDM in the handle so a little more muted. Both the green 330 and HD have this. Launch angle the HD is lowest then VC95 then 330 is highest but you can still hit flat shots with it.

I experienced the same for 2019 TT100. To me, 2015 TT100P has a lower tajectory, less power, and more plush feel. However it has a higher power than phantom 93p 18×20.
Another consideration can be dunlop cx 200 tour 18×20. It is stiffer but has a lower trajectory and less power than 2015 TT100P.

Fischer M Pro Number One 98 (SL better but even the UL) has all of that!
