Looking for new racquet 4.0 player

Hey guyz i'm looking for a new tennis racquet.....

currently i'm using a Babolat Pure Drive Team
with Luxilon Big Banger at 55lbs

I'm currently looking for a new racquet that has a head size less than
100 square inches....(so basically between 92-100)
and that doesn't have as much power as the pure drive....

i've considered the Yonex RDS 001 which has 98 sq inches and has less power...
I've also tried the Dunlop Mfil-300 but didn't like it....
oh ye and i've tried the nBlade but didn't like it as well....

and the Dunlop Aerogels aren't out yet here

I have a aggressive baseliner style with a pretty big serve (for a 14 yr old)
but i can still hit my vollies pretty well

ny other racquets i should demo?

Maybe try stringing the lux a bit higher?

Anyway, you could try out the yonex 002, a radical, m-fil 200 16x19, a friend of mine said he felt the PD with cortex had less power, Fischer M Speed Pro Number One Light and a lot of the other fischer racquets, prince diablo tour, maybe speedport black.

Lotta choices out there, but also try to hit with more spin with the PD.

A couple more that you might want to read up on are the Wilson Prostaff 6.0 95, from Volkl there's the DNX 9 and Tour 10 Gen II, and the TFight series from Tecnifibre.

Good to hear that you're not afraid to venture to net. Keep after that all court game and you'll always be more dangerous than your peers who just cling to the baseline like it's their religion. I've coached at your age level and the advantage that an all courter has is huge.

kk i'd try to demo the yonex 002, I used to have the i radical might try to use that again....
um..mfils 200s ye i have access to those, i'd try to demo those as well after i'm done with the yonex 002...
um....
The volkls i haven't used yet so i'm happy to try the DNX series as well...
as for the Wilson Prostaff 95 and the Tecnifibre racquets, my parents aren't willing to buy stuff from overseas so ye...
(i live in australia)
i'll c how the pd is as well with it strung a bit tighter....that is after i break the strings lol...
yes thank you for your advice i'll try to reply asap to c what type of response i get from each racquet thanks

kk, i'll try the POG, but i'm still yet to demo the yonexs
my parents aren't happy with me going to a tennis shop like every 3 days or so to demo a racquet :'(

im also a 4.0. and like u i previosly used pure drive and like u i wanted more control. i switched to the k95 because i love the extra wieght since it gave me more stability and allowed me to whip my shots which i had trouble doing with the pure drive. but make sure its not too heavy for u

Well, since you like Babolat, and you obviously have access to that brand, you should probably try their Pure Storm Team and/or their Pure Control Team Standard.

Both are 98 sq in. and have less power and more control and feel than the Pure Drives.

nah im' sure it's not too heavy i played with it once (for like 2 ralleys)
my friend has that racquet i'll c if i can play with it sometime

Well thats easy, the racket in my sig - you'll love it - more control and better feel.

i'm gonna demo that racquet the second it comes out here in australia !
:p

and for the pure control, i didn't quite like it......just didn't seem me.
so that's why i was considering new brands but nevertheless
i'll try to get my hansd on one

So try the Pure Storm Team (the 98). I bet you'll like it better.
