"Curses! I must return to the battlefield!" Bellows The Shah who is stuck in a Troll Cave trying to decipher an ancient script that will grant him escape. "These markings, they are erratic and troublesome, you must take your time to memorize their peculiar nature." said the Elf Lord and Shah's companion: Celebrimbor, as he paused from slowly pronouncing the strange words so that the Shah could do his best to understand them. "Now then, Applied Differential Equations Section 1.4: Direction Fields" started the Elf Lord. The Shah knew this process will delay for him his revenge. However; A cavern within the bowels of the cave does provide the necessary space and amenities to keep his skills sharp until the day arrives where he may enter back into the daylight. With the Fallen blade lying bare upon a bed of stone, the Shah is determined to reach the Fields of Gamma. Only then can the blade be fortified, trained with, and revenge exacted.

The cavern, The Shah found, is home to a bounty hunter known by the moniker Cole-Shoulder of the Edain. Cole-Shoulder knows all to well the writings which the Shah and Celebrimbor labor to decipher and memorize. He offers the two his assistance in escaping the cave so that they may continue on their journey. But in exchange Cole-Shoulder requests to spar with the Shah. Cole-Shoulder wields a Mid-size Yonex blessed by the Valar(V Core). Using a 90 sq inch Wilson forged of Basalt and endorsed by Fedúvatar himself, The Shah and Cole-Shoulder battled for hours. The Shah was beaten in this friendly bout 4-6, 7-5, 5-7. Cole-Shoulder's serve was as powerful as any the Shah had encountered. The hours of returning such thunderous serves clarified some of the Shah's ongoing suspicions over a serve of its magnitude. This experience, and the continuing help of Cole-Shoulder whilst in the Cave will, with luck, grant the Shah and Celebrimbor exit from the cave, and give the Shah enhanced experience leading into the looming battle using the Fallen Blade: Fedúvatar's 97.

Powermir woke up in a daze. His past opponents had left him weary and worn out from the game. He slowly opened the door to his hillside home and let the light shine in and inspire him.

With the light of the morning illuminating his desk, he crafted a letter to Jolly explaining his plight. He placed it in the tight leather pocket of Harold, his faithful carrier pigeon and whispered instructions. "Now go!" he exclaimed as Harold shot off in the direction of the light.

Powermir sat back and waited as he embraced the day.

Down and down into the bowels of Castle Jollkula walked Jolly Baggins, until he reached the vault door which held his treasures. All the while he thought on Powermir's plight.

From the vault Jolly pulled a golden mail shirt which once armored the mighty warrior Andreus Aggasus, rival to the great Petros, and conqueror of Oz, holder of the golden slam.

"This should protect Powermir" thought Jolly.

Are all amongst thee wielding the Dark Graphene Saber, or be there dissidents amongst yee ranks?

I have heard it spoken amongst the outcast Youtek that cursed flakes of graphene sprinkled upon the Prestige have caused it to fail its noble bearer in battle. The IG believe graphene is a plague worse than cortex and that only the IG are true bearers of the Prestige. As we speak a mighty army of Basalt warriors lead by Sir Roger masses on the border, intent on restoring King RF to the throne of Pro Staff by whose will all graphene will be destroyed.

So far the wielders of the racquet of destiny number only three. Jolly, Pickle, and Heavy D.

You may also add a Mister Gadsby.

And: back in NYC now. Rusty, but looking to shake the rust and hit some felt again. If looking for a hit, let me know.

Yeah. It's a bit of a hike via train I think but I'm game to make the trip.

Am also able to play daytime if you ever have an afternoon free.

Powermir opened his package from the Tennis Gods. It glowed with a bright red hue to the touch and felt like part of his hand when he grabbed it.

As he raised it above his head in triumph he screamed "I HAVE THE POWER" before sheepishly realizing that was a completely different narrative.

Within the depths of the mountain known as Hollow Rock the Shah stumbled upon an abandoned mine of Wolfram and Poison Stone, the stones which were vital to reforging the Fallen Blade. Previously a home to goblins; the caves were thought to be barren after a long occupation by Orcs aimed at harvesting all customization stones. Upon close inspection a dwindling ore was discovered by the Shah.

"This will be more than enough. We must return to the forge with whatever remains of this Ore. But be warned, the forces of the Black Elbow have all but depleted the lands of Mordor of these precious minerals. If you are found to be in possession of these materials the attention of the Black Elbow will be drawn to you." Warned Celebrimbor. The Shah began collecting the remaining ore until a gruesome creature jumped out from behind the rocks with a Graphene Prestige Rev Pro in hand.

"Bright Master!" Exclaimed the creature as it frantically crawls to the Shah.

"What in Middle-Earth is that thing?" Asks the Shah.

"It must sense my presence. This creature is the remnant of a pingy-past." Celebrimbor says to the Shah. The creature stops and smells the air above its shriveled nose.

"Poison'ses Stoneses! Wolfses Ram'seses! We smells it!" It says as it snarls at the Shah. The creature leaps at the Shah but the Shah knocks it back. "It has taken our Customization Stonses!" shrieks the creature.

"What do you need these stones for?" asks Celebrimbor.

"Our Graphene Prestige Rev Proses, it hurtses our elbowses. Bright Master, surely you can improve the Feelses" Whimpers the creature.

"Shah; look at this creatures elbows. They have already become blacker than the paintjob itself. No improvement to the Rev Pro can reverse the effects of the Black Elbow." Says Celebrimbor.

"Then we should Double-Bagel it!" Suggests the Shah.

"No, he seems to have knowledge of these caves, with any luck he'll show us the way out. Then we can return to the forge and move one step closer in bringing an end to this once and for all." Says Celebrimbor. The Shah reluctantly agrees.

I had two friends who wouldn't shut up about how good they were, then I got a pair and thought it must be in my head because no way a shoe could make such a difference.

On this day the Fallen Blade was reborn. Guided by Celebrimbor; the Shah stood before the Forge of 5 Stars, said to have been built using the stardust of the Top 5 celestial bodies: Nole Major, Fedcules, Nadalaris, Andyromedae, and Nishicoronae(As of 2/16/2015).
"This is the last blade I will ever see lain upon a forge, and it will also be the last blade the enemies of the light will ever taste." Celebrimbor says as the Shah's work meets completion.
"I think it needs a name." Says the Shah as he lifts it up.
"What better a name than what was originally intended?" Suggests Celebrimbor.
"You couldn't mean-" the Shah starts.
"Yes" interjects Celebrimbor. "Esse ProStaff"." Which meant Name: ProStaff.

Struggling in tournaments, but my ranking is creeping up. Should crack the top 30 when the rankings come out this month.

Excited for spring, better practice partners and free court time.

Jolly, what do you mean by "struggling'? :(

Hovering around .500 win percentage, lots of tiebreakers (thankfully I'm winning most of them even if it is stressful).

I had tough patch losing first round three tournaments in a row, but I feel like now that winter is ending I'm shaking it off.

Sometimes I feel like I'm playing in a fog and can't concentrate, usually when I don't get enough sleep. Other times I'm really tight to start, can't serve can only push like a little girl, other times I start out fine, then crash or tighten up in the second set.

It's an adventure, I'll give it that.

Fortunately I'll be able to play sets against better players now that outdoor season is upon us, I'm going to try to play at least three singles matches a week besides tournaments.

I'm guessing that in TT numbers it really isn't an extreme amount of racquets.

Where it differs is that it is so many of the same racquet.

Yes, exactly. It's reasonable to assume that over a lifetime of play one would accumulate many racquets, but that's 12 fairly recent racquets all purchased in a short amount of time (less than 6 months if I'm not mistaken) when before that other racquets were in use. At most I'd buy 4 racquets; usually two to start and two more if I really loved it.

Right now I have seven six-one 95s, but from the 2007-2012 versions.

Honestly, 17 is not a lot for me, I'll likely end up with 25++ by the end of the year. I don't like switching.

Mr Jolly

What is your current tournament match record? I see you use to use Wilson racquets any reason why you switched over to Head? WOw 17 racquets is a lot then again you are breaking strings every hour?

Currently 7W-8L.

All my Wilsons broke and the new ones suck. So to Head I went.
