I just bought a pair of Blushield Fly not the Fly 2 as well hoping for a good cushioning!!!

same here. one all court version and one for clay.

another advantage Diadora has is that they require only pictures for 6-month outsole warrant claims and there is no need to ship the shoes. (though Fly doesn’t come with a warranty unlike Fly 2)

That's too bad! But it's great for you!
However, I can complain since I got them at a really nice price. If I had not found the Fly at that price I would have probably bought the Fly 2 in a few weeks. I'm still playing with running shoes :)

I agree. Lotto arguably made the greatest tennis shoes with their Raptors. I guess i won’t be in a hurry to try the mirage. Diadora is putting out nice shoes these days it seems. I might consider that
i bought the Diadora and have been very happy with them. I LOVED my Raptors but, as we all know, they stopped making them. I think the Lotto Mirages are too narrow in the front foot for my liking. They feel okay when you are just walking around but when you are playing the front part of my foot hurt because the front area is more narrow. I am not too happy with the Lotto version. Sad, they had a great shoe with the Raptors and now the new Lotto's are not very comfortable. I will stay with Diadora's for now. I bought three pair, in anticipation of them making some bad changes in their new version. I am not sure why shoe companies mess with a winning show combination. If people really like them these show companies think they are making the next version "better" yet changing the very nature of that shoe. Horrible R&D people at these shoe companies.

not similar but it gets good reviews. i have tried them on (and they felt good) but haven't played tennis in them.
the brands that i like these days are Diadora and Head.

Little in common. The Stratosphere series is lower to the ground, lighter and the first iteration was also very soft and comfortable. It's not as light as a Vapor/Solution Speed, but lighter than the Raptor IV. The Stratosphere 2 is IMO an improvement over the Stratosphere 1 by virtue of having a stiffer upper that helped a lot with stability. Dunno about the 3 or 4, haven't tried them.
Any input on the Viper Ultra series? Bad right?
