Mantis tour comfort alternative

A string that I have been keeping in stock "mantis tour comfort" has been discontinued and is getting harder and harder to get now. So I'm getting to the point of finding a suitable and close replacement for it. I don't use it myself so not too familiar with its attributes.

Is anyone able to provide a suitable alternative? Will be used as a full bed.

Don't know about the Tour version but I'm pretty sure Mantis Comfort Synthetic and Pro's Pro Hi-Tec Multifibre are the same string.

If as stated by Mikeler it's the same as Mantis Comfort Synthetic then WeissCannon Explosiv! is virtually the same string. It even stinks the same.

i don't think they are the same in terms of actual manufacturing but they are very similar to play with, both aren't very durable... i got a reel of the pro's pro and went through them within a couple of months in hybrids;

recently got the velocity MLT and it's much more durable for what it's worth and I also do like the feel/characteristic, as I did with the hi-tec (minus the real short life span)

Just as stock was running out, I found a reel of it from Spain for £80. Still have about 30% of it left. However by the end of the year I will be on the hunt again.

I did get a number of multis and most are completely different.

However velocity mlt is very very similar, a little more slippery and softer on the coating. But construction and the unique smell is virtually the same. This is what I am stocking and offering as a first replacement.

Worth noting I avoided velocity for a long time because of the bandwagon it gets on this board... But actually it's a pretty decent string

That is a lengthy bandwagon, no doubt. For me, very low powered and sorta dead - drifting to be more poly like as a multi, maybe, in my hands. Guess that is good for others, not in my house...
