DD won 3-2 vs NJD. Final showdown Sunday morning Pittsburgh vs Delaware
AMD also has to worry about their two appeal rated players stroking outThe DD 3-2 win had each court as expected, no upsets. Every winning player/pair has ratings over 4.0, three of the five losing players/pairs were under 4.0
Both teams should be rested both playing their first/only match of the day tomorrow, how will it play out?
The simulation gives the edge to DD, but it is really close with DD having an advantage on a singles court, AMD on a doubles court, the rest really close. Line-ups and match-ups will matter.
How strong are these two teams compared to previous middle states sectionals winners? The DD 3-2 win had each court as expected, no upsets. Every winning player/pair has ratings over 4.0, three of the five losing players/pairs were under 4.0

Similar. The usual several players over 4.00 with a good group in the 3.8s and 3.9s behind them. How strong are these two teams compared to previous middle states sectionals winners?
Oaf! TR says he would have had at least 4 strikes before this weekend! Clearly that was wrong.@schmke curious if you could share if MN from the PATD 3.5 is close to being disqualified or if TR was just really wrong on his opening rating?
Even beat MXAMD wins 4-1 to go to nationals.
Do you think the AMD 4.0 singles star got any strikes?Oaf! TR says he would have had at least 4 strikes before this weekend! Clearly that was wrong.
I did not have him that high, some risk sure, but nothing like TR has.

Before the event, PATD 52% and NJD 45%, so nearly a pick'em.New jersey upset PATD to win 3. 5 sectionals. PATD was probably the much stronger team, what did your rating say?
I played on the AMD team, how do we look up strikes?Do you think the AMD 4.0 singles star got any strikes?
There was only a 3 percent chance one of the other 4 teams would win? Before the event, PATD 52% and NJD 45%, so nearly a pick'em.the

You can't. You'll find out if you get 3, but they run a strike report after the end of every match at sectionals, so if you were going to have anyone DQ'd, it would have happened this morning.I played on the AMD team, how do we look up strikes?
For some reason, the team that won 3.5 sectionals, Princeton Nights, didn't have their matches updated in tennis record for the last month, same thing with the Jersey Boyz, their 4.0 sister team
My ratings include all their matches. For some reason, the team that won 3.5 sectionals, Princeton Nights, didn't have their matches updated in tennis record for the last month, same thing with the Jersey Boyz, their 4.0 sister team
I'm not sure who you have as "3 of their 5 lowest rated players", but I can guarantee that they didn't use 3 of the 5 weakest players on their roster. They are all well versed in ratings management on that team, so the ratings were clearly disjointed from actual ability. The only one of the players in the lineup who might be one of their 5 actual weakest players is their captain. The others were fairly close to their top lineup. If you want to see who the strongest players are on the team, look at their lineups vs my team and in districts.AMD has played mostly their top players. PATD tried to play against that with three of their five lowest rated players. Line-ups matter.
