Well, Djokovic seems to have begun picking up his form back. A very good win, and revenge for last year.

A little up and down but showed some great play at times today. This is good for Djokovic to be finding his gears this early in the clay season. If Musetti can play like he did in the 1st 7 games, he can have a good clay season.

I am afraid that Sinner is a bridge too far considering his current form.. I would be happy if Novak gets a really good workout in MC and gets sharp for Rome and RG..

Do you get that when you lift super heavy?

After a grueling match with lots of hard shots, my hands will feel weak, similar to how they feel when I wake up. But the violent shaking during the match is concerning. Read that it can be a result of caffeine/stimulants, but it only seems to affect his playing hand. Makes me think it's just shock from so much hard hitting against Muchete

That wasn't a great performance from Djo, more of a poor performance for Musetti on an average looking Djo. Mentally stronger during the tougher moments.

Both need to win 2 more matches and its not a guarantee but looks far closer with today's events.

Its a potent cocktail of electrolyte imbalance, excess stimulants, adrenaline, stress, and over exertion even if it is for a very short time. Can happen in many ways.

Musettis forehand can be a weapon for sure, but it's a somewhat shaky shot at the same time. He frames and misses easy shots too often. I'm thinking Khachanov when I see Musettis forehand. Quite similar with an extreme grip and almost straight arm at the same time, but Khachanovs' fh appears as more reliable...

He was moving like God in Turin just a few months back. I think it is more about his mindset right now, he has very specific goals atm. This other stuff isn't really doing it for him in the same way.

True. I agree he still has the form and fitness at the moment. It was more just a general statement that father times catches us all just at different points.
