Monte Carlo Masters Series: draw and results

Who will win in Monte Carlo?

Djokovic/Stepanek are winning 47% of their first serves and 33% of their second. I know that in doubles you are supposed to serve to the opponent's backhand but is that all that hard to do for a pro and get in a decent serve? Or are they just getting a ball in play.

Does anyone know anything about Querrey on clay? I know he beat Moya in the first round but pretty much everyone said that was because Moya has "lost it." But now he is up a set and a break on Seppi.

Querry has a big serve, which though somewhat negated on clay, is still a weapon. His groundstrokes are solid and he can really unload if he needs to. He plays fairly straight-forward tennis, so if he's "on" he can complete, even on clay.

His movement, especially on clay, isn't superb, and I'm not sure about his endurance, so I wouldn't expect him to go deep at the FO, but at least he's shown that he can compete on clay. He beat two good players, but he it's not like he was facing the top dirtballers.

Here is what it says on the official site:

I Andreev (RUS) d [8] M Youzhny (RUS) 63 ret. (neck)
N Almagro (ESP) d [11] J Monaco (ARG) 62 30 ret. (right hand)

Also Nalbandian won easely after early bit of trouble and JCF beat Nieminen.

Gasquet destroyed Vliegen 6-1 6-2, he will be another good test for Querrey on clay.
Robredo 1 set up against Soderling, the winner gets Nalbandian.

Is anyone watching Robredo s match? How are they playing? I know they are on the tie break on the 2nd.

I don't know the answer to your second question but whats the point of your comments as to your first question? Or was that just a general inquiry and if so, where did you get that idea?

The commentators on TTC said that there wasnt any love lost between them.

I am watching Bolelli/Davydenko and the type of tennis Davyenko played up 6-2, unitil 4-1 just put a smile on my face all the way through. The guy is playing some great tennis.

Kohlschreiber was a set and a break up against Davydenko. It´s 1-1 in the 3rd now. The winner will play Andreev in the QF who beat Almagro in a tight 3rd set (not a surprise that Almagro lost a tight match).

I expected more from Robredo, but he seems on a slump now and his ranking has dropped substantially in the last months. Nalbandian looks sharp, Fed'd better come up with the goods next match.

Nalbandian's just broke Robredo's service again. 6/! 3/0. This is the best Nalbandian, the one from 2007 Madrid and Paris MS. I hope he shows up tomorrow against Federer.

Call me crazy but I think Robredo is playing well, much better than earlier this season. Nalbandian is simply on fire, the way he´s playing today is scary.
It should be a great match against Federer tomorrow.

And here's a thought: who wants a top form Nadal v Nalbandián final on clay? :raises two hands and two feet:
