Calleri has my best wishes...I want revenge for Querry beating Carlos...where is his mind? Not on the tennis court...on that stupid blonde bimbo girlfriend....she' ruined his game. he needs to go back to Flavia...get his back together:evil:

At the same time Flavia won the Estoril with Kirilenko. Nice double to watch :)

Tipsarevic shaved the goatee. I'm disappointed :( Hoping he can come off the injury time out and keep playing well though. Would like to see him go all the way through in this one.

P.S. Anyone else notice that clean-shaven Tipsarevic looks like Justine Henin?? Put a cap on him. WOW.

Yeah he looks pretty good without glasses.

What happened? can you elaborate?

Following his serve, Llondra was walking back towards his chair, just past mid court and he took a ball out of his pocket and tossed it back, just like most people do. It inadvertently hit a linesperson, so he got a warning. With the speed, a casual toss, one would have thought a linesperson would have gotten out of the way, or at least not reported to the umpire, since it was not thrown intentionally at him. Llodra was understandably upset.

Am I supposed to repeat here what I said on the other MC poll? Well, here it is:

"This the poll where more people like Nadal. Right? 57% here and 48% in the other one. But Federer is pretty much the same in both places. Whats the point of having two polls?"

yeah, Richard lost to him on couple big occasions, particularly that embarrassing loss at RG last year. I am sure he will want to revenge that in front of French crowd.

Yeah I remembered Gasquet's RG post match interview, he sounded pretty distressed.

Well they're playing in front of a French crowd again so hopefully he'll pull through instead of collapsing. That Vliegen.. I like his game.

Djoko seems to be serving poor. 40% first serves so far, second breakpoint Ljubicic. Saved. Anyone has got a stream for this one?

The Argies are going down today. Chela got destroyed by Bolelli 6-2 6-2 and Calleri lost to Seppi 6-4 6-3.
Ramirez Hidalgo is rolling over Simon 6-1 5-1, I hope he can play a good match against Federer.

Monaco just won though. So it is not all bad for Argentinians.

I got Chela and Simon winning in my bracket :(

Ljubicic seems to put in a real fight though, 0-30 second serve for Djoko. He makes it 15-30 though, and I think he'll run away in the second. Still seems interesting from the statistics.

So Novak broke Ljubicic in the second 2-1.

Edit: Live streaming is working again on bet365. 3-1 Novak.

Game over. Djoko had a tough time in the beginning. Ljubicic should have broken once more. Now Djoko will run away with an easy victory as expected. A good first win for him that'll be.

Back to deuce:( Djoko's just been very good on breakpoints. He's not held serve easily, but he gets away each time. Something which separates the men from the boys.

Novak wins 6-3 6-3. Good win for him.

They exchanged shirts at the end. :) Nice touch.

Oh, I've actually played Granitechief before and I've gotten more than a game. He knows I've got game. But the last time I played him I hadn't pick up a racquet in 6 to 7 months. I'm really wishing I had recorded our last match now so people could see some of the points. The match wasn't a beatdown by any means. I just wanted him to know that I'd be ready this time.

I'm sorry! I want to apologize, I was kidding..........I wish you good luck for the next match. :)

Hey GRANITECHIEF, My game is slowly being resurrected. I will be more than a handful for you our next encounter. My only problem is my stamina is total crap, and I also tend to have brain cramps which results in dumb shot selection. Other than that, I should be ready. Do you happen to have a camcorder? I sold mines. I wanted to get one with a hard drive and haven't been able to purchase one yet.

Edberg, thats great that you game is being resurrected. When did that start, on Easter?

I look forward to the next encounter. When exactly might that be? Do you have a trip planned?

Thanks for the help with my strategy: try to make conditioning a major factor, and be ready for unusual shot selection due to brain cramps.

I have a cam but its analog: Hi-8. A hard drive cam would be very cool and i think they're not to expensive.

LOL at D.Nestor-Zimonjic losing to Nadal-Robredo in doubles match, definitely this Nadal boy is the king of clay haha

Nadal's a really good doubles player, actually. Just needs a proper partner.

Still, N&Z are one of the top doubles teams. That was quite an unexpected result and a huge blow at N&Z since probably Nadal will quit or tank as he progresses in the singles draw. Does clay somehow make individual quality count more than teamwork sinergy?

I saw one Rafa doubles match and he was just crazy good out of the 4. And one of the guys on the other side was Roger, so take what you will from that.

I guess it's harder to hit winners (including volley winners on clay), while passing is not hintered. So perhaps there is less net play involved, but JUST a bit. If it's any sort of baseline rally, of course Robredo and Nadal have a huge advantage.

Yeah, I started back playing about a month ago, mostly 2 times a week. That's not bad but I'd like to be playing a lot more than that. As for when I'm coming there, I haven't exactly ironed that out yet. I'm still shooting for May but I'll keep you updated. If we use your camcorder I think I should be able to find a way to transfer the data to a disc, I hope.

How is Davydenko doing? Anyone watching. He had a huge number of unforced errors in the last couple of matches, something like close to 50. Just kept missing the lines. Any similar problems today?

Ferrer beat WC Safin 6-2 6-3. Davydenko was 6-2 and 4-1 up against Bolelli but the italian won 4 games in a row and Davydenko serves to stay in the 2nd set.

Does anybody else think Bolleli looks alot like Adrian Voinea?? I like his game, when he learns to be more consistent he'll start to do better.

I can't believe that Davydenko is letting Bolelli slip away. Its 5 - 6 with Davydenko serving and I think he had him at 4 - 2. Oh and look at Lapentti. He is a set up on Tipsarevic 7 - 5 and even now at 4 - 4.

I think Llodra had gotten called for a foot fault by that linesperson, which is why the ump coded him. Thats what the commentators said. They did disagree with the code violation though.

He did look in the direction of the linesperson before he tossed the ball.

Anybody know why Safin & Ferrer dont like each other???

In the last game of the Safin - Ferrer match, Ferrer hit a ball that was called out by the linesperson, but was overruled by the umpire. Safin got the ball back in play it looked like, he definitely returned it, but instead of replaying the pt, Ferrer got the point.

I thought that if the person got a racket on it they played two if an out call was overruled???

I don't know the answer to your second question but whats the point of your comments as to your first question? Or was that just a general inquiry and if so, where did you get that idea?
