Most exciting player is yet again Nadal

LOL no. In fact Nadal's presence (particularly since Djokovic's exit) has dragged the tournament down. Tennis needs something other than the status quo, and his inevitable pummelling of both Swiss turkeys will only strengthen it.

The Dimitrov/Nadal match was definitely more exciting than the Murray/Federer match. Dimitrov played a lot better than Murray, and actually Dimitrov arguably played better than Federer.

Wow, that's delusional. Nadal was hitting moonballs, it was such a boring match.

The match against Nishikori features 2 breakers and a 7-5 set......together with sneaker changes and coaching and time violations . Best match to watch so far.

Most anticipated match right now is Nadal vs dinitrov

Nadal .....hate him of love him is the most exciting player in tennis .

Dinitrov? typing so fast, no?

On the other nadal news, Mr Nadal has announced that he will produce rose scented fecal matter, thus proving once again he is the Second Coming....

I don't understand.. Do you legitimately not understand objectivity vs. subjectivity? Gosh you're annoying on here, give it a rest..

This is subjective opinion. I find an in form Federer much more exciting to watch than Nadal. Tsonga can be more enjoyable to watch too. Nadal, Murray, Djokovic and Ferrer are not as exciting to me.

NO. You're wrong, don't you understand? You don't get to choose what you prefer.. That is not how this works. Nadal is the best, the end.

The reason there are so many Nadal threads is because haters are having a field day dissing him and Nadal fans franticly doing damage limitation.

Nadal fans are not frantic, it's the Federer fans who are frantic because Nadal did his job. He played badly the whole tournament except when he rose to the occasion against Federer.

Doing his job would have been winning the whole tournament. Bit sad that even now beating 32 year old world #8 Federer is what you guys care most about...

Badly or not, he was simply outclassed in that first set by Stan.

If you are used to eat hamburgers every day, well, a difference in the weeks promotion makes the difference...but when you are used to caviar, it has no meaning at all.

It's debatable who cares most about what, including Nadal. It may very well have been more important for Nadal to put a great amount of energy beating Federer instead of conserving energy for later. As for Nadal fans, it is possible for some of them to care most about beating Federer but that is largely brought on by Federer fans' hate towards Nadal.

In fact it is a compliment to Federer that Nadal feels he has to play fantastic otherwise he may lose to him since Federer did look like the most dangerous player at the Australian Open.

I think largely is the operative word here. Actually I don't even think that's the driving force behind it. The real driving force is the fact that it's the ONE thing Nadal truly has over Federer so naturally his fans like to parrot it at every opportunity, and make it seem bigger than it actually is.

Nadal turns every match into a battle. It's great. Even when he wins in straights, something always happens. Love it.

Have to agree - Rafa's matches are usually good drama. I enjoy watching his matches for the excitement, even though I'm not especially drawn to his style of play and time-wasting.

While other players I watch because I enjoy watching their style of tennis even though their actual matches are usually not great (e.g. Dolgopolov or Davy).

Which just proves that you have no taste.

Yet again the most exciting matches ever play all involve Nadal …..whether it’s the greatest match of all time where Nadal beat Federer at wimpy or when he lost to Joker in the longest AO final of all time …..it’s always Nadal that makes for the most exciting matches of all time.
