Murray: Djokovic lost motivation after beating me for first RG, he should take his eye off the ball!

As a non-Djokovic fan, I have to admit that it would be nice to see him calm down a bit with his winning :-D

The upcoming Wimbledon just won't have any excitement when he's playing this good

Can't calm down now. He's level with Serena at 23. He can surpass her by winning Wimbledon and then erase Margaret Court's 24 majors by winning US Open or AO next year. Definitely Djokovic is super motivated now.

Lol. To be fair Djokovic will probably be motivated to get the calendar slam and for Olympics next year, beyond that, it's hard to see

It makes it look worse for the tour that they all had to wait for Djokovic to lose motivation before they could actually start winning majors. Alcaraz was the first big hope to stop a strong Djokovic at the peak or near peak of his powers and he wilted. I was shocked by Zverev. I thought we were going to get the Zverev from the Nadal match last year at this year's RG but then..... o_O :(

It probably doesn't make much sense to have Margaret Court being the leader of grand slams. It's time for Djokovic to surpass her so people will stop bringing her name up.
Yup! That's what i'm constantly saying! I want that record (and as it seems i'm not alone in this...), not because it means anything for Novak (or any player male of female, that could potentially have a shot at it...like Nadal or Serena for example...), but because she is so awkwardly unpopular, that it almost makes no sense for her to hold any sort of big records at all, so that once someone passes her, the mention of her name in a milestone grand slam achievement can finally rest in piece...it is the same superstitious reason why Sampras didn't want to retire before getting 14th slam (cuz everybody knows 13 is unlucky number, or so they say...)...LOL Sometimes there are silly reasons like that to motivate oneself to break certain record...
