Where is the shoes on sale now ?? I heard chshioning really suck on these though
I hate that I always seem to he the guy sticking up for UA in these threads but have you tried on or own a pair of UA shoes made in the last few years (cause I'll agree there first generation of shoes went that great). If you have you'll know there cushioning they use which is called Micro G is a great foam based cushion system. With different version for different sports and different needs. For example in there Gemini series running shoes there one of the industry leaders. (Link: www.runnersworld.com/shoe/under-armour-speedform-gemini-mens).
So give Murray shoe a chance don't just write it off or pass along some second hand info cause it isn't a Nike, Adidas, etc shoe. Mark my words while it won't be for everyone it'll be a performance beast.
you live in Nor Cal so I would assume English is your native language ?? if it has better cushioning than Yonex Stan shoes, I would buy it for sure.... does it ?
Ha ha, I was thinking of a way to say it but you nailed how I feel about their shoes too.All underarmour shoes look like potatoes with an H drawn on the side
I wonder if they essentially reverse engineered the Barricade 8. If so, I would not be interested. But if a new model, I could be tempted. Given Under Armour tends to put Murray in boring colors, there probably won't be a loud enough version for me.
Okay that outsole and heel cushioning is STRAIGHT Barricade 8. Minus the claw pieces. But even the claw idea at the toe is still there. A FAR cry from the "under armour" shoes he was using at Madrid
This is accurate. He is basically wearing a UA version of the B8, with a clutchfit upper piece that seems to be Under Armour's work. Sad that UA couldn't be more innovative. Maybe they're just trying to slowly pry Andy from the adidas look/feel
they're called the UA ClutchFit Pursuit.
I find it hard to believe that UA won't be under some legal trouble if they try and release this shoe with a barricade last. That seems SO illegal
Why would they even want to copy the Barricade 8 ??? That is the worst shoes ever created in history of tennis
Settle down, guys. That outsole isn't all that original, even from Adidas. Nike started it back in the late '80's.

Show me another brand's imitation of that Nike shoe which is as egregious as the UA copy of the Barricade.
I own both the new Curry shoe, as well as the ClutchFit Drive, the basketball shoe that Murray's new shoe is modeled after, and they're both incredible. Cushioning is great too, way better than any tennis shoes, so I would think if most of the same technology is used in Murray's shoes, they should be pretty well cushioned and supportive.

I don't actually mind if they're opting for charged cushioning instead of micro G, between the Curry's, which use charged cushioning, and the ClutchFit Drive (which uses micro G), the Curry's are much better cushioned. How do you feel about Andy opting to use a different cushion tech over micro G???
Looks like in the new B8 version, that they did away with micro G, and perhaps added charged foam or a different EVA midsole compound...
Will be wild to try the Murray signatures out when they finally get that through production/marketing/distribution/etc...

I would definitely buy some Curry's if you have the option, they're amazing. As for the charged cushioning, I find that it starts out firmer than micro G, but eventually softens up to the point of being much gentler on the joints than micro G, but in my experience thus far it has never softened up to the point of not giving a firm responsive foundation. The charged cushioning definitely feels better than Nike shoes in my experience, I used to use my Courtballistecs as basketball shoes until I got the Curry's and ClutchFits and my knees, hips and ankles would all get really sore as a result.
Also, I don't know if they're gonna do this with the Curry 1 Low's, but UA decided to make the Curry's all a limited release, so if you're a big Curry fan, or just want some sweet basketball shoes, I'd suggest pulling the trigger on the Low's at some point.
I've used every generation of the Ballistecs except the current 1.5's, and the 3.3's and Lunar Ballistecs were my favorites. The Curry's definitely have better cushioning than the 4.3's, which I've used most recently.
The anafoam upper gives amazing support, and I think it would work well for tennis as long as you aren't the kind of player who slides on the sides of your shoes a ton.
The guy I talked to at UA said they're doing the limited release stuff with the Curry's to match the original hype of the first Air Jordans, which seems like a pretty good plan if you ask me. Yeah it's hard to find them right now, but I'm sure it'll make the Curry 2's sell a lot better, and at the very least, UA hasn't upped the price of their limited releases like Nike has, the Curry's have all been $120, which is pretty awesome.
