Rafa named his yacht 'Beethoven' in honor of his grandfather, who was the conductor of an orchestra (died in 2015). His fellow islanders gave him the nickname 'Beethoven' because he helped produce the first performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Mallorca at 19 years old.
Oh OK so the article was misleading.
I frankly could not imagine a masculine muscular figure like Nadal liking classical music.

You need to educate yourself. The trophy presented has the winner's name engraved on it.
Players get to take home only a replica which does not have the name. Both trophies are made by Tiffany and Co. in New Jersey.
