I was always convinced that Xisca was Nadal’s beard, but I guess setting a date means it’s probably real.

Did you know that Nadal is a fan of classical music?

A month ago Robb Report reported that tennis star Rafael Nadal had listed his 76-foot Italian-built MCY 76 motor yacht, named Beethoven for his love of classical music, for $3 million with Camper & Nicholsons International.

Not quite what you would have expected from a muscular manly athlete, no? That might have been attributed to some elegant player, but no, Nadal is multi-faceted.

Are you saying Nadal is not elegant?

Rafa is an elegant man:

Rafa named his yacht 'Beethoven' in honor of his grandfather, who was the conductor of an orchestra (died in 2015). His fellow islanders gave him the nickname 'Beethoven' because he helped produce the first performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Mallorca at 19 years old.

Oh OK so the article was misleading.

I frankly could not imagine a masculine muscular figure like Nadal liking classical music.

Rafa likes musicals.
AUGUST 28, 2015: ¤¤ At a cocktail party on Thursday at the New York Palace, Nadal told VF.com that when he’s in New York, heading to Broadway is one of his favorite things to do. He said he loves Phantom of the Opera so much that he’s seen it “like seven times.” Other shows on his must see list? “Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Lion King . . .”¤¤

Opera is so boring. Maybe it took him 7 times to understand what was going on hehehe

Wait, he doesn’t get the trophy until October 19th?

That’s going to be a weird ceremony Sunday

You need to educate yourself. The trophy presented has the winner's name engraved on it.

Players get to take home only a replica which does not have the name. Both trophies are made by Tiffany and Co. in New Jersey.

Rafa finally letting loose a little and enjoying the results of his success.

A true role model in every way.

I thought Suresh's gift to the couple would be to press that Like button on each supportive post about Nadal on TTW. I'm disappointed.

Oh, right he never gives any Like to anyone. :D
